Well a disappointing nights racing, which started with a very poor turnout considering how many signed up, some good racing and some not so good.
My first rd race07 club event for a long time and now i remember why. Qual went ok and i was happy with 7th, could of done more laps but thought fook it there is a long race ahead.
Lights changed and it is race on but i think the guy in front was busy scratching his balls or something as he just sat there not moving, game him a nudge then got a thump from Scott Webber behind me but we all got going and made it around T1. Going into the chicane alongside but just in front of Mario when i get thumped in the arse by the same Scott Webber which sends me spinning nearly collecting Mario, so we are now down to last with a damaged car, (had expected to see whoever hit me waiting to let me regain my place but no chance of that it seems).

Had some good racing back up to 6th, span once unassisted with very worn tyres and once with assistance by a backmarker who with fresh tyres tried to unlap himself but made an arse of it.

Some good driving by some and some not so good by others.

Thnx Yves for the effort and everyone who raced well on the night.

I can only apologise for the lateness of this message. And i realise it will be a no show. But i could not gain access to my pc in time as a family member works nights so he was asleep. Huge apologies i feel really bad, and hope i have not lost any respect. Good luck to all in the race

The sad part is that I had Real Time Telemetry running on the 2nd monitor. It does the same thing and I should have used that to check the fuel consumption prior to the race. I didn't know the garage tells lies, it has always worked out for me in the past... I guess I used to add more extra fuel.

Edit: I have XD too, but got rid of it today because the readouts are too small (small dotpitch tft monitor).

Does anyone have a replay I could borrow?

If if the main one causing problems is the motec box, can open XD.ini:

; MoTeC HUD Scale
; Note: Only the MoTeC-Display can manually be scaled.
; Everything else is scaled automatically according to your screen resolution
; If the MoTeC display is set to tab-mode, the other info is also scaled (Session-Info/Standings)
; Value given in percentage
; 100(%) Scale = 1024x768 = 1:1 = No Transformation
; 0 = Disable scaling
Scale=100

change to something higher like 125.

I also have issues with XD on triple screens where the leaderboard stretches one entire screen :(

qually starts in 15 mins - u can still race if your able to

It was an enjoyable event for me yesterday. One of my first encounters with Mid-Ohio and it's defintaly not one of my good tracks, so I expected to be out of pace by quite a bit, so I was not surprised that this was the case^^

Q: Started off slow. My last race with the V8 was on the last enduro, so quite a while back and I had to relearn how to make this car fast in quali. Usually crazy drifting and such does not gain my anything, but in this car you can squeeze out quite some time on a qualy lap. Should have tried that much earlier in the session and not just on my last lap. Gave me a p3 on the grid though which was better than I expected.

R: Standing on the grid, I realized that I had forgotten to change my front-tires back to "Hard" ;( (the game automatically changes the tireselction after every new session).
Had a good start passing Yves, but he got me back some laps later.

In the middle of the first stint I made a big mistake getting my rear on the grass on a right-hander and spinning out because of it ;( I was very disspointed with that, I thought I knew from practice how to catch that if I get too wide there, apparently not :mad: Lost over 10secs here and the place to Leonardo.

I was slowly catching back to Leonardo when the time for my only pitstop approached; I chose to pit a bit earlier and do the rest of the race with Hard-fronts this time.
I expected a close call with Leonardo after he did his stop, but for some reason I had some seconds air in front of him after the stops went through, also no idea why Yves was behind me.

My second stint was not great. I suppose the Hard-compound does not really fulfil its meaning very welll, as it was slower in the beginning and just barely egalized its performance after a while and never gave back any advantages.

-> q: 3rd / r: 2nd (fifth second place in a row on an RD-Enduro...)

Huge gap to Andreas, grats to him once again; I was missing David,Ross and Dariusz today, I hope they will join us again next time :)
Thanks to all guys who got lapped in this race, they made it happen very safe:thumbsup:

Thank you Yves for organizing and cya guys next time, hopefully there's a league coming with these in the near future.

Small grid but some of the best racing I've had in ages! Left at the end of practice to install skinpack and forgot to save my setup...qualified 4th and then decided in practice to go with a different set up which turned out to be pretty awful! Had an absolutely epic few corners with Simon, Mike and Roger and somehow came out on top after being at the back a couple of corners before! Simon got through and then my tyres just completely went and I dropped behind finishing 5th.

Second race I opted for a completely different set up and it worked, after a crazily close first lap I ended up getting up to first, I'm sure Chris was just toying with me given his pace in race 1, he got through and I kept him honest (although again I'm sure he was just going easy!) then Hugo caught and passed me. Managed to keep within a couple of seconds of the top 2 as they battled and was on for a 3rd place, until coming out of the final corner to go onto lap 13/14(?) and the car started spluttering...I hadn't topped up with fuel on this different set up! ARGH! Still, great fun all the same, might have to put together a replay of the highlights. Good racing all, see you again soon!

i had a amazing start, only to see 2-3 cars infront of me going into a pile up because some1 at the front wasn't awake, im not going to say sorry for that bump as it was not my fault.

I apologise for this bump but you did brake quite early to me, i was just easing of the throttle at the time ready to brake shortly after, but i shunted you, i never realised you went off tho, my deep apologise it was not intended at all.

Thanjks Yves for Organizing this, i was really ashamed by the turn out, even tho we had a solid sign up for this race, it annoys me people sign up and then sign out just before the race starts, surely you would only sign upto races knowing that you can 100% participate.
