Quite a lot of fun that. Didn't do much practice after getting disconnected last week but luckily there's only about 10 corners on this track so it wan't too much of a disadvantage. First few laps saw a lot of close contact racing but I decided to play it cautious and watch from behind. Gained places from the spins and crashes in front of me and ran as high as sixth before Marian breezed past me about 20-25 minutes in, started to get a lot of understeer and pitted at the halfway mark for wets, but of course forgot to change the preset and left the pits with slicks, rectified that 2 laps later with a second stop. The extra bite felt great so was able to push a bit harder and bring the gap down to Ross in front whose tyres I think were 3-4 laps older than mine. Got too vigorous going down the box at the bottom of the hill and lost a few seconds. Ross was then able to stabilise the gap and I followed him home in 4th.

Wasn't me (I didn't think it was as I've got a few podiums with these cars), but I had to really mess with the diffs and stuff to get it stable, I pretty much used everything at my disposal and got the car stable enough to run a 1:45.3xx, definitly got the speed in it to do a 44 but as far as that compares to the rest of the grid I doubt it's competitive, Hockenheim is my favourite track and it's all I can do to stop the car from killing the poor walls ;).

Firstly thanks to Ross for the weather patterns.:)

Qualified 9th, race lasted 11 laps before i was nudged off the track by Rui Martins (for which he has apologized-thanks), my race started badly, decide to start on wet tyres, got a poor start dropping from 9th to 14th before the first corner, playing it cautious i guess, and after 5/6 laps my front left was glowing fiery red before the heavens opened and gave me a reprieve, slowly worked my way back up to 8th briefly before a moment of lag threw my concentration and ended up on the grass and spun, no damage done, continued on in 13th place. Back up to 12th after Ross spun on sharp right hander before main straight, went on the hunt for Rui who was to be my nemesis, overtook Rui same place as i overtook Ross previous lap, up to 11th, and belted down the straight with Rui behind me, unfortunately that's where it ended, i got a little tap from behind, we both spun off, his was terminal, i got suspension damage, went to pits to fix damage, instead i fix aero damage after missing my pit box, managed to do one more lap, but my car was struggling to do right handers, ended up crashing out on lap 11th in 16th spot.;)

All good fun.

Lots of fun with the changing conditions. Close at the front in Q already (P4), then close racing with a 4-car group for the first 15 minutes on the front. After Reggie made a mistake in turn 2, i was chasing Joao for P2, with Bob like 2 seconds in front, finally overtaking Joao not long before halfway through the race. Bob then did his pitstop.....and i was thinking about waiting just in case the rain would get heavier. Well....of course i didn't wait long enough and right after changing to slicks heaven opened its gates. Joao then took the lead from me easily and i made a second pitstop for wets now. I had a nice flow for the 2nd half of the race, but Joao's lead was way too big to catch him, although i was able to close it down somewhat.
Nice race with P2 in the end.

Lots of fun this event, the weather conditions were just insane! I was quicker on the dry than I was on the wet. On dry I was the fastest, but on the wet not so quick. Luckily, the track dried out towards the last minutes of qualifying and I was able to set a lap time to give me the pole.

Again, a bad start. :( Bob goes into the lead. I managed to stick behind him for most of the time, but as the rain came I was losing pace, and Matthias passed me. Then Bob made his pitstop which unfortunately went bad. :( Im sorry for you mate. It was just me and Matthias. Matthias pitted and so did I. Luck strikes again here. Matthias kept the slicks and I changed to wet tyres. This is what saved my race. Matthias was sliding all over the place and I managed to get through easily. He pitted again and I had now a huge lead. It was all about maintaining it, not making any mistakes. Matthias still cut about 15 seconds or more from me. I was really slower on the rain. P1 at the end, and my 2nd victory in Mini Friday! :D

Great racing by everyone, the weather conditions really made things exciting!

How am I supposed to set steering lock on BMW? I use 900 deg and 31 lock for that retro max BMW, which should be real values according to the internet, but this retro cool BMW is weird. Looks like 18 should be OK? I haven't found any real values for retro cool cars.
