I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Here are the hotspots for the Austria Sprint. As per the intro, drivers were allowed 4.

Drivers were given some leniency this week, to help keep numbers down.

Below is the race live stream, go to 40:50 for race results and gaps.

This is 100% bull:poop: In Algarve we were allowed 2 wheels off the red stuff. In Imola last season we were allowed 2 wheels off the Astro. Now we are being judged completely differently when the rules haven’t changed? In the PSN message all it says is you are allowed to use Astro, but not over it. Nowhere does it say you must have all 4 wheels on it. This is the picture that was posted in the message as an example of what not to do. Notice the car has all 4 wheels off the Astro not 2.

What Oz said really. Two of mine were exactly that, meaning only 4 in the sprint for me. It wasn't made crystal clear, so can't really be enforced for the two wheels over, as that has always been the accepted rule, until now.

Pesky moving goal posts. You can't expect people not to complain when it is complete finger in the air deciding what is a penalty.

Do we have Stevie Wonder as a silent steward or something?? For once in my life, I Wish, we could have Faith that the stewards won't be Uptight, so we 'Don't have to worry 'bout a thing, or have any Superstitions, but the rules should be clear and Signed, sealed and delivered, otherwise, Heaven help us all.

When you guys figure out the f***ing rules, come back at us please :whistling:

The rules are as done in the video. Adam gives me limits, and margin for error, i apply them. As of Adams rules, all extends in the video are illegal. Adam confirms all of them are ok & deserve to be there. If anyone feels unfairly done, you need to speak to Adam, i just ajudicate within the rules im given

Adam can read this thread just like everyone else. All this go talk to Adam nonsense is getting old quick.

Yeah i can read this oz ha the way you keep going about things is getting old tbh the track limits where stated to you all for the race on the site and in the playstaion chat all drivers are in. I had even allowed tollerences on the limits to help you all incase of mistakes or being pushed off track ect. But you still all dont seem to be able to keep it within those limits so penalties are harsh yes but needed. And everyone has a chance to show there side if you feel you had case. Footage if possible.

Ill have no more comment on this subject unless its the stewards themselves or anyone appealing the track limit penalties thankyou.

Steward's Decision
Incident between Gaz and Seeks, @Gareth Williams receives a 5 second penalty for causing a minor avoidable collision.

Track limits:
Nathan receives 5 seconds and 5 penalty points.
@Ben Milden receives 10 seconds and 5 penalty points.
Seeks receives 10 seconds and 5 penalty points.
Ramsay receives 10 seconds and 5 penalty points.
Matt receives 10 seconds and 5 penalty points.
Oz is disqualified from the sprint race and receives 10 penalty points.

I was literally about to post my view on the video that seeks put up lol,

P.s I’d like to add that I was playing on a joystick in drift mode in that race so forgive my driving stewards,

Here is feature race hotspots maximum allowed 9. As in liams post the race times are in frank live stream.
Notice how I only had one that was on T7. All others were T1 where I didn’t know the rules since what is being enforced is different to what we were told on PSN.

Edit: @Jamief430 The 1st and 2nd picture for me are identical. Are you sure they are 2 different laps?

I would like to appeal 2 of my so called extends

1. First one (only one I could find to match picture posted in the video above) I clearly lose the rear on corner entry and have no choice to run wide. I’m told mistakes are taken into consideration

2. I run wide mid corner so come off the throttle and down an extra gear to try to avoid the extend unfortunately I didn’t

But again we are told mistakes are not counted and/or if you don’t gain an advantage

I’ve watched everyone’s sprint race back from chase camera and to be honest it’s shocking how far my results do not corrolate with the video shown!

Thank you for your time stewards and appreciate your efforts
