I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

That’s cool guys. Disqualify me because of a last minute rule change that half of the league didn’t know about even though I only had 4 more than the rest who got 10 second penalties.
We understand that the track limits for this circuit weren't clearly explained to all drivers and hopefully in the future this doesn't happen again. However that's out of our hands, all we can do is give out penalties as fairly and consistently as possible. In your case, you extended over double the allowable limit and we felt that deserved disqualification.

At Algarve Skaanky had 11 and recieved a 10 second penalty. At Dubai Skaanky and Night had 11 and both recieved 5 second penalties. In the same event Indreksen had 17 which is more than double the allowed limit and recieved a 15 second penalty. Where is the consistency when I get disqualified going by the above penalties?

At Algarve and Dubai the allowable limit was 8. Algarve we also said we were lenient because it was the first race. I believe Dubai was Indrek's first race so we were lenient and we ended up disqualifying him from the sprint for excessively abusing track limits. That's all I have to say on this.

Hotlap

Last Time Out

Qualifying saw Oz take pole from Gaz, with Ramsay P3. Ramsay fell down the order with a bad start, with Oz keeping P1, Nathan was applying pressure to Gaz, and finally made it stick into P2, passing Gaz into T3. Further behind Matt spun, causing Liam to rear end Jamie. Lap 5 saw Liam pit, after forgetting to put fuel in pre-race, causing him to have a pit-stop 30s longer than everyone else's. The midfield battle of Adam, Jamie & Ben rumbled on, with Gaz trying very hard out front to pass Nathan, and he eventually did, but in the pit-stops Nathan executed the undercut, to regain track advantage in a battle that would rumble on for a long time. Benji was having tyre issues, and handling issues with his R.S. 01, dropping him far back. A spin late on put Jamie to the back of his battle, On the last lap, Liam had closed in on Matt at a very rapid pace, but Matt spun, right in front of Liam, causing serious damage to the M6, Allowing Seeks to pass for P7. Gaz had more success, managing to pass Nathan on the last lap for P2. Oz won, Gaz P2, Nathan P3, Ben P4, & Adam P5. The sprint provided a great race, with Ramsay taking P1 from Liam in qualifying. Ramsay got a bad start, and allowed Liam & Matt past, then got forced out in T1 down to P6. Matt was running P2, but all hopes were ended in T2, with Benji having an issue, and flying straight over the corner and T-Boning Matt, causing 3 cars to hit eachother in avoidance. Not long after Ramsay passed Jamie for P2, having taken advantage of the crash on Lap 1. Jamie was defending his hardest, From Oz, Gaz & Matt, and doing his upmost to keep P3. Later on Matt lost it out of T6, Ruining his & Nathan's race. Adam misjudged himself, and spun Gaz in T2. Liam and Ramsay were fighting it out, with a mistake from Liam on the final lap, allowing Ramsay by. Track limit penalties were applied post race, with Liam winning, Ramsay taking P2, and Jamie taking P3, due to Oz's disqualification.

Message To All Drivers.

. The Current Situation with track limits is getting silly so with that being said these are the changes being made to the Hotspot System

. From now on 2 wheels must remain on the Kerbs at all times (Around The Full Lap) anymore than this will be classed as a strike, drivers seen to be abusing these limits in part of the track that isnt policed by hotspots will need to be reported to the stewards by you the drivers.

. I will be taking over the hotspots for the next event at Spa GP so i can check everything has been done the way i want it to happen.

. Last but not least there will be no more Room for error so if your seen to go marginally over that will still count as a strike, I'm coming down hard on this now with the hotspots/Track limits so i urge you all to stay within those limits at all times to avoid penalties or we will end up back where we started.

P.S - There are no hotspots at Sugo GP and After these changes if drivers are still seen to be abusing the limits every race i will consider turning in-game penalties on as no one will cut then.

Thanks All

The pole said dry-dry-wet. Where did random come from?
It actually said dry-dry-random, plus there is an asterisk behind it. I even explained this in the first post of the thread:
“We use the Default Date and a set weather system, for instance Dry - Dry - Random or Dry - Dry - Wet.”

We used the random setting in previous seasons, that’s why it’s there. We will have to test if the random weather settings have improved in the new game. If not, we will change this to a set weather condition.

Like I said before, consider this season a test season for the new game. If things don’t work out as we suspected, we’ll have to adjust it. So there could be a few more changes before the end of the season, but we try to keep this to a minimum. We’ll just have to adapt and overcome.
