PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

R: 5th

Confident of a great race as my qualifying pace isn’t always my pace. Race started well tried to stay out of trouble but Liam And Jaime tangled and Jaime spinning ruined my race 10 seconds after it started, after that pitted from basically last on lap 1 then drove the rest of the race on the same set of tyres. Others had issues or poor pace so bagged p5 when Alan spun on the last lap

Sprint

R: 4th

Great start p5 after the first turn passed Jeremy cleanly for once on lap 1 for 4th and then tried to pass matt who was battling scooby but he tried to put me in the pit wall luckily managed to just see it coming and switch to the other side to pass. Into turn 1 five of us played a game of who can brake the latest we all won lol but I came out p2 as matt got a dose of karma lol and crashed unfortunately this affected a lot of people’s races with damage. Next I tried to hang on to oz as long as possible but he was to quick. Liam caught me after a couple scrappy laps by myself and got me into turn 1 we battled for most of the rest of the race but just couldn’t find a way back past then on the penaltimate lap I half span and gifted p3 to Gaz but almost got him on the line missing out by 0.030 of a second

Lamborghini has potential I just didn’t set it up well looks/sounds great

That was my last race using my G29 as I upgrade to a Fanatec wheel next week, looking forward to that

Congrats to my teammate who did no practice and even with a wheel he didn’t use before tonight’s races he had strong pace. Only way is up for SCOOBYNALDO GT

Did an ok lap, could've found maybe 2-3 tenths, but i was happy.

Seen as these Audis and Jamies merc start so fast, i was swamped. In turn 1 we were 4 wide, but i was focused on Adam as my main threat, so without realising i drifted slightly left and into Jamie, which also ruined his and Bens race. I spoke to both privately and apologised. Anyway, down into the hairpin, Nathan went into the back of me, causing me minor damage, but enough to cause me big handling issues. I eventually spun at T3 because of it, so cut my losses and pitted. Due to a spin from Adam i retained my P4 and took it home.


Sprint Q NA

R2

Start was ok, i think us lot at the back were sensible and sorted ourselves quickly. Start of lap 2 i was still in my P7 i started in. Everything kicked off, and i happened to clock Matt spin, so went round the outside, so while those 4 piled up, i went from P7 to P3. Started closing Ben down, caught him, and eventually pulled off a late braking move into T1. He had a few more attacks into T1 but i kept it. Then it was a cruise home until i had to back off to give Gaz slipstream to keep him ahead of Ben, and it worked as he got P3 by 0.030. All in all solid points. Only really lost out to Oz & Gaz, and they're not my aim.

The lap was pretty sloppy, but I got a nice tow from Ramsay so that helped.
R: 1
It was a pretty uneventful race other than a small spin at the end of my first stint when I tried to drive over a curb and stay full throttle.

Sprint
Q: 6
R: 1
Made a good start and went side by side with Night through turn 1 then we made contact on exit allowing Ben to slip through and cause slight damage to my front. Almost crashed at turn 3 and thankfully Gaz was on his toes so I didn’t hit him while trying to catch my slide. Going into the hairpin Night spun on exit and I nearly t-boned him. On to the end of the lap is where the fun started. I was 5th at the exit of the final turn. Ben and Matt did their thing on the right side of the track and Scobby and Adam did theirs on the left. Scooby let me have the middle and somehow I passed everyone going into turn 1 then missed the first turn completely as I didn’t realize how fast I was going. Luckily Skaanky slowed everyone down for me and I was able to pass Ben into turn 3 for the lead.

Got divebombed by a lambo into the hairpin in sector 2 and found myself down in 7th or 8th. Slowly worked my way back up the order with a fun battle with Nathan and Rob, and spins from Liam and Lord Adam. Rest of the race was very boring.

Going into turn 1 on lap 2 I went to the outside, unfortunately the only car I could see was Liam, then he moved away and by the time I seen the pile up... it was too late. Audi felt good here, shame there's like 6 of us.
