I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

I get it every corner. It signals how hard you're pushing the tires.
On another note, I noticed that they have made the Renault RS.01 possibly the best GT3 car in the game. Big improvements for the the Renault, Lambo, and Merc AMG.
yeah I get it in almost every corner as well, really annoying and distracting to see smoke all the time in the mirror.
The RS01 is awesome in the bends but I think it really lacks in its top end still so would likely struggle for pace at all the speed tracks. The Lambo and AMG deserve plenty of buffing IMO, 2 of the best current real life GT3 models out there that should certainly be filling the top end of any grid.

Pretty good race tonight guys. Happy to rebound to P2 after a terrible quali and race start. My car felt nothing like my practice or what my setup was actually like despite it saying it was all loaded fine. Could barely trust it to corner for the opening laps until like the flip of a switch 1/4 through the race it seemed it loaded my setup in and started gripping properly . From that point I had a pretty strong race going from p5 up to p2, then I tried to get back in the same timezone as @Marksest112 but it was again too little too late to put in any challenge for victory unfortunately having to close a 36 second gap. Another brilliant drive @Marksest112, well done on 4 for 4!... and to @Hurt MaGurt for am lobby win!:thumbsup:

Is that a common problem Toast or is it something post patch? I assume your practice was in the same conditions as the race?

@Peter Hooper I had the same issue 2 weeks ago at Watkins, pre patch.

Last night was an unexpected victory for me. I do love the Algarve track, and I basically learned PCars 2 on that track in an LMP2 as it was the first race in my other league. I had a 1min lead 50 min in when I pit. I only had 1 late race spin, generally I'm good for more incidents that that.

I really like how the Pro lobby results showed up, I assume because you guys used the new League feature. I hope we can get that set up for AM if possible.

One odd thing I found out post patch is that in tuning the tire pressures are set by PSI. In pit strategy tire pressures are set by BAR. That makes last minute calculations fun.

Looking forward to the rest of the calendar.

RictalSplash60 disconnected after Qualifying. I fought a loose car all night.. Loose in, loose out, do the hokey pokey, and the Ferrari, She spin out. Completely missed it tonight. Congrats to Hurt MaGurt, for a much deserved win.
I too completely missed the setup. Trying to take pressure off my LF I raised the springs in the rear and on a full tank wiped out both my front tires after 10 laps. I managed 2nd place until 14 laps in and spun getting into to turn 1 after serious clipping on the wheel, I guess that's how PC2 represents worn tires. After that I was just doing everything I could to hold on, until I picked up some new tires. With the lower fuel load and fresh rubber, the car was pretty awesome and I was able to run low 46's and 45's. I obviously should have used that same setup for qualifying. Hoping My luck will change at Spa..again not a good track for me, but fun none the less. Then we have a nice gap until Le Mans. I'll also be reviewing the Track Limit Settings.

A little tip for that, is Create your Setup then go to Default Pit Strategy and your cold Tire pressures should already be calculated for you.

Unfortunately I did not get a screenshot of the Qualifying.
I believe it went...
1. Cubitt17 1:43.2
2. Haveblue112 1:43.5
3. Detty 1:44.2
4. Michaei 1:44.8
5. Toast 1:45.0
6. Nova 1:45.6

first time its happened to me I'm pretty sure. Yeah I practiced in the exact listed conditions/settings and got a decent setup going but it felt nothing like the car I got in quali and the start of the race. At first when I joined in the session, it didn't show any of my saved setups and only listed the default ones, but once I loaded the default one in, my setups then appeared again :O_o:. I had just previously practiced and ran a 44.2 low fuel run with some more time in it, but couldn't get near that in actual qualifying because the car was so sketchy. Not too angry in the end with how this race ended up but it is definitely concerning for future races.

After next week I should be good to go for the rest of the season. I will set up the lobby like mike did this week. Again I will be missing next week for work. This is just bad timing for me.

Yeah I can imagine.. it's those crazy inconsistencies that are a real problem for the SMS release as it seems you can never be sure what you are getting from one session to the next.

Thats the frustrating part.. I too would practice in Multiplayer mode. I would create my setup in a Practice session mirroring the Race Conditions and get the car right, or at least think I do, then when I went to the race session the car drove completely different. So there is completely different handling characteristics between Multi-player Practice and Race Session. Track temps were the same, but in the race the Car just plowed. In Practice I had a lot of heat in my Left sides, then in the Race both my Front tires were overheating are wearing as if they were soft. My RF was at 30% by the time I pitted. It doesn't make any sense. After I pitted the car went back to the way it handled in practice with the left sides hot and fairly balanced. Game seemed fairly broken last night in Handling.
