I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

What do we think about maybe switching back to manual rolling starts like last year? I know that had its problems but I think a lot of people are getting tyre pressure bugs form the auto rolling start e.g Tom last race. I know for all 3 races my starting temps and pressures have been way high.

Anyone got any thoughts, solutions?
Also, does the patch enable bigger lobbies?

I'm up for that. We will have to see how the new tyre model reacts.

They actually reduced the restrictor on the 488 so it’s now a bit slower and down on power. I haven’t really noticed too much change in grip, I’m sure that will depend on what setup you’re running. So far I managed a 1:43.8 in quali trim at Algrave.
:( I can only manage a 1:45.5, tires are short lived. I could use some help with my setup.
Me and Spiff will likely be on Saturday Night around 10pm EST for some online practice.

well I haven't had much issue with it but it seems some guys (Tom especially) are continually getting over inflated tires using in game manual rolling start, causing uncontrollable spins out of nowhere. Mine seem to say they're over inflated sometimes but then they come back down after a few laps.
Must admit that I struggled at the rolling start of a couple of races yesterday in a GT3 session I held mirroring your Silverstone settings. Felt like I was on marbles for a while.

I think a manual rolling start would be great. I know that I’ve had overinflated tyres all three races and had to go cautiously he first few laps to get them in a decent operating range. I think the format we had worked well in PCars 1. As long as everyone is on the same page. I think the less we leave up to this game to do for us the better.

Does anyone know if the update has improved multiplayer at all?
