I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Well it's not completely defined on weather underground. So I would imagine Cloudy means anything from light cloud to heavy cloud. Overcast is a separate description on Weather Underground. But ultimately it depends on the historical weather data kept/reported by the region on the specified race date.

Thanks, Trevor and Toast, for racing tonight. Private lobby didn't let me invite from Friends List, once Practice started. Caught the tire pressure bug, had to adjust Pit Strategy prior to race. Didn't check Tune before Race, and started with 40 PSI. Pressures came down and settled in nicely. Mistakes were made while trying to adjust on the fly. Overcooked Turn 1, and had to pit. Speeding Penalty cost 50 seconds, and a few points from my license. Would have been fun with more in attendance. Ran a quick lap of 1:46.1, just 2 tenths shy of Toast. Looking forword to the Main Event.

Ran with Toast, Nova and Nasty last night. When setting up the lobby make sure that you have that 2 min pre race between qually and lobby. Last night ran a 5 lapper, no pre race time so set up was off, wrecked car, went into the pits made repairs and tire change and came out to find that my tire were inflated to almost .40 bars higher than what the setting was in the pit strategy. I hope that it was just an issue with not being able to verify my settings before the race itself even though in other races the setting in the pit strategy were verified and it still screwed up the tire pressures

I will have the lobby ready by 8 pm for Am. I will have it set to private and give everyone about 10min to get online. Party chat invites will start to go out by 7:50 give or take 5 min (Have to pick up daughter at her boyfriend's house at 7:30). If you want Whitey to run the Am lobby tonight just let me know.

With what I have seen with pit strategy bug and some other issue's, I still think that it is too early to start the league up let alone run a race requiring a actual pit stop where you have to change tires. I may be the only one, but I haven't had a good pitstop yet using the pit strategy. Tire pressures have always been screwed up after the pitstop (even after verifying my strategy before the actual race). Screwed up enough to make the car undrivable. Just my personal opinion. If this happens to me tonight like it has happened to me every other time when I pitted for tires then I will be parking the car in the grass on the track somewhere and out of the way so that everyone else can finish the race, Someone will need to make sure that they capture the final results because I will be switching over to the PS4 and playing GT sports.

Are we going to combine pro/am lobbies if the numbers stay the same or will they be seprarate whatever the turnout?

Until Multiplayer is optimized Lobbies will be capped at 10 drivers. So if we have 8 Pro drivers and 3 AM drivers. There will be seperate Pro and AM Lobbies. A Small AM lobby benefits the Drivers that show up as they are still running for a Championship. Merely starting a race will net you points. Perhaps in the future after testing we can Combine a max of 15-16 drivers. But the game is too unstable to get that work right now.

How is the game communication going to be organized? Party chat? Or external app?
Since we are doing seperate lobbies regular party chat will do. I tried Discord back in the spring and never could get it work besides also needing a seperate set of earbuds which won't work if you wear a headset for Xbox anyway.

As far as Pressures at the start of the race...If you have set your tire pressures based on Race Conditions, don't worry. The reason for the high pressures is the Tires start out Pre-Heated at 210'F (which is not Optimum for the Pirelli's) which will not last based on track temp. Actual good operating temps for Soft compounds is 160-190'F. When your temps get down to where they're supposed the pressures should be right. I've tested extensively to achieve the proper pressures throughout the race.

I would love to. May be able to get on around 6:30 tonight for about a half hr. I'm going to be out to lunch on this one due to not enough practice time.

That makes sense then as to why at the start of each race at this track my car is loose as hell. When in practice and starting on cold tires my temps will get to between 177 and 192 depending on where I am at during the practice run. Michael you're telling me that the tire pressure will drop with the temp after the start of the race? Is this true for when you pit as well? Makes sense that my set up feels good during practice, but as soon as the race starts I feel like it is crazy loose.

I started the race with 75 L of fuel, as well. When Pit Strategy needed adjustments in Pre-Race, I didn't have time to load my setup. After a few close, early laps w/ Toast, I checked fuel, and it said 60 L. #&% €! I set my fuel to FULL (120 L) after my Quali Lap. Methinks I got DEFAULTED! Buggy bugs bugging bugger.......

That’s what happened to me in our previous test. It’s absolutely necessary to load your setup again in those two mins pre-race, all while checking pressures in your pit stops, and don’t forget to ready up as well. That’s not a stressful way to get your mind right for the race at all

Well, Just been informed by my wife that I may have to pick my kid up from work around 8:30 if she gets called in after school. Just my F%$#ing luck. Why should anything in life go right. I will let you know around 4:30 or so.
