PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

Due to this glitchy game, I will be withdrawing from this series. It's not worth getting so disappointed and angry over. Actually I think I am giving gaming up in general. It's been fun racing with y'all but I can't be on gaming anymore. It's not enjoyable anymore and it's caused nothing but grief for me. Have fun with the series and good luck to everyone.

Give it one more Try, Colin, if we get a Patch the game may be better. But if you don't have a good internet connection over there than I understand. You really need atleast 3.0bps upload to have a good experience online. You'll be getting points for attempting to connect.

it was just for the X. It's pretty amazing they can put out an Emergency Patch at will for the X, but they can't fix Multiplayer which is slowly killing this game.

Seems fair. I would rather give points for attempting to connect, than spend 30 minutes or more, on race night, trying to restart. We started promptly and finished on time, unlike a few other unnamed leagues.

Also don't forget HRH 5. He should get points too, he started the AM race and almost made it 1 lap before his engine blew.

I had a great first 45 minutes leading until I pit first. That pit lane was my nemesis. I first made the mistake of going for a 2 stop strategy. On both scheduled pit out laps, i crashed on that terrible pit lane out. This not only caused me to have to pit for the damage each time but also a drive thru penalty for leaving pit lane twice. Total of 6 trips thru pit lane.

All issues I had were self inflicted not game issues. I had a great time and look forward to the full season. Hopefully get a few more steady connection racers to join to boost AM numbers.

I had a really solid setup. I took pole position, but failed to keep my speed under 75 on the rolling start. This gave me a drive thru penalty and I immediately fell back in the race. I was able to claw my way back and had some great racing with Rebel for the lead. After roughly 15 mins of really close racing, I was able to get past him on the banking, but had too flat of a line going into turn 1 and couldn’t hold it.

During my pit stop, I took full fuel, tires and repair. Rebel was smart to not take tires and this created quite a gap between us. The race was won by that point. Nicely done Rebel and great clean racing! I had a blast.

No, I was on lap 2 when I spun and collected some damage on the nose which may have closed off air ducts. Limped around to pits and engine blew 100 feet from pit entry. Was fun and will get seat time for next race.

Pretty decent race in the end despite the low total numbers. Real shame what happened to Nova and Dalai at the beginning of the race though, It did spoil what could have been a much more thrilling event. Although my start was poor and a damage crash in the bus stop got me angry, by the end of the race I was having fun reeling Mike in from a substantial gap he made post pit stop. Unfortunately I messed it up once again in the bus stop on the final lap trying to line up an exit move on the Ferrari after getting right on his tail. I risked it all in the bus stop knowing I had a healthy gap to 4th but it just didn't work out and I lost the back end, eventually having to crawl to the line in 3rd place. Well done @Marksest112 on the pro lobby victory and also well done @Rebel Whitey on the am lobby victory!
Looks like we could have combined both lobbies in the end, maybe that will be the way to go for Watkins Glen if the numbers are similar... hopefully there will be more able to make it though

Nova had issues with his FFB, and once he was too far back it wasn't really worth competing. Tom on the otherhand was in P2 chasing down the leader, and won the Disconnect Lottery.

First of all, I want to thank you for letting me racing with you. I've had so much fun and I've learned a lot with you, that I'm very sad to decide that I'm leaving the Championship.

Today I've received good news in my job, as I've been offered to do a Master's degree. The 'problem' is that it is intensive and for the next 9 months.

I'm afraid I can't cope with working, studying and training for the races. I've to leave something for now, and obviously I've made the choice.

I want to apologise for the inconvenients and hope you have fun.
