I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

I didn’t expect to be that far off of pole. I was even more surprised after the session seeing it was all in the last sector!

I was in no mans land for the whole race. There was no way I was keeping up with Gaz unless he crashed, which he didn’t.

Made a good start although I’m not sure how the left line had a huge gap in between the cars towards the front. Followed Gaz around until I got caught up with him and Night at turn 2. Pretty much wrong place wrong time thing. It was hilarious though in the replay watching how far Gaz’s car went after I barely touched him. Maybe he had a lightweight chassis and that’s where pole came from? My race was compromised after that damage and I fell through the order until lap 11 or 12 where I put a wheel in the grass braking for turn 2 and lost a place to Gaz.

If we keep rolling starts then during the week there should be a rolling start practice. It could be during the practice thingy on Tuesday Adam wants to start doing. It would help with the confusion a lot in my opinion. I also like the idea of staying on the same side of the track where your grid box is.

What car are you running?
Lamborghini Huracan GT3. It's too twitchy on the straights and I'm having issues figuring out where and when to start braking for corners. I know I am braking to early for some, but if I push it alittle bit more, I miss my braking some where j can effectively turn in for a corner and still hold throttle through the corner. I just need to see where everyone else is braking I guess

Sounds like a setup issue. As far as braking points I start squeezing on the brakes as soon as I hit the apron of the track into turn 1. Once inside the track I look for the darkened rubbered in area to start braking then roll the center of the corner I have spots on the track like skid marks I use as a reference since the cones are likely going to be gone shortly I into the race. Once outside the I run full throttle until the green Rolex Paint then hard in the brakes over the yellow curbing, roll the chicane until you get the car turned and pointed out, then hard on the throttle, clipping the curbing on both sides out to the wall.
You're not locked into that car until after Daytona. But I would try and see if there was a hotlap and setup for the Lamborghini on YouTube. It may not be good here but it will have its place.

Braking later than me into turn one then. havnt got the confidence in the fezza with braking....

I've tried Different bias settings but with my driving style, my braking I prefer 60% front Bias as I'm usually very aggressive in the braking zones. With more rear brake I don't feel I can be as aggressive and start braking earlier, but yes you can trail brake easier with more Rear Bias.

Yeah I know I'm working out if town 3hrs away. I'm hoping I get back in time. I should safely be home by 8:00pm I want the race to start on time. The room will be Public with a Password so you should be able to Join in on my GamerTag. If we can get the Qualifying started at 8pm (1am UK time) I'll make Qually 25 mins. I would suggest you try a Pit-Stop Check tire pressures in your Race Strategy. Make sure you have the correct setup applied. I don't really want the race to start any later than 8:30 pm EST 1:30am UK time. If you don't make a lap during Qualifying you can still run in the race. Its a long race so starting position really doesn't benefit you unless you are the leader. Also I've seen the game start people from the Pits, that may be the case if you don't run a lap in Qually.

If you want to run manual pit stops we can. I will play with the settings to see how it all works. That is only if we run an AM room though.

@ Michael- Does the password work for public lobby
Yes, I think after our Test and Tune at Daytona; Manual Pits is the way to go Because the game forces Automatic regardless of your selections.
---Allow Automatic Transmission
---No Forced Interior View
---No Mechanical Failures
---Allow Ghosted Vehicles
---No Pit Exit Penalty
---No Pit Mistakes (Pro/AM)
We will require Mandatory Pit-Stops in the future. Since it's review-able in the results screen it can be enforced with League Time Penalties.

We ran a club race today, Public w/ password, and were inundated with random people entering the lobby, unable to race due to oassword, and leaving. This caused repeated lags, and disconnects for one club member. Once we went Private, with listed friends, no problems. We should all have each other on our respective Friends List. It makes Race Night much smoother.

We can go Private Lobby but you can't join in on a GamerTag if you do that. Which means if don't get in with an invite you're not getting in. It worked for me several times with no Randoms joining. I guess the multiplayer is such a mess it still only works % 1/2 the time.
