I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Is there any possibility that this is still happening, and if so what do the driver numbers look like currently? I'm an extremely active XBL user, and I'm looking for an active racing league that operates on US EST time zone (or at least something reasonable between 5pm est and 9pm est on weekdays, anytime during weekends)

If anyone can let me know, that'd be great!
Poll up about car type you would prefer. I just posted in SMS forums so we shall see what the interest is. Once people get here, many of the problems I'm reading about can be alleviated if the lobbies are stable.

S6 is finally here, along with a new game, what do you so far think of Project Cars 2?
Enjoying it more than I did at the start but has a lot of work to be what we hoped it would be. Still angry it was released in that condition

We've had almost 3 months of off season, how have you found it/spent it?
Not bad tried assetto was ok for a while but lost interest. Other than that work sleep repeat

What in particular are you most looking forward to from the new game this season?

Just racing again getting everyone back together and the banter etc. Not expecting a great deal from the opening rounds due to my late switch to the Porsche

Race Updates
. As stated in the thread track limits will be policed this season using the Hotspot system we had on Project Cars 1. @LIAMATTHURSO and @Jamief430 will be checking the designated corners for each event as well as the pit lane exit.

. The Track Limits for Turn 1 will be "2 wheels must remain on the Red Patch just to left of the kerb" anyone with all 4 wheels over this red patch will be used as a strike.

. The Track Limits for Turn 4 will be " 2 wheels must remain on the kerbs anyone seen with all 4 wheels off the kerb on exit will be added as a strike.

. Each driver has 8 strikes for the Feature Race and 4 strikes for the Sprint Race worked from a 1/3rd of the race distance.
.This had been changed before the season/race started and the stewards had been informed it was a mistake on my part to update it on here so apoligys on that front.
This will be posted at each event to clearly state the amount of Strikes Per event.

will the series be using LMP1's or 2's? I'd be interested in running an NSX GT3 and Honda Ligier LMP2 if they're available.
Its just GT3 at the moment. We toyed with the idea of running both but a 16 driver Lobby ( under ideal Multiplayer conditions) limits the choices. However DSRL is running a multi-class league of LMP2's and GTE's over multiple lobbies. If we have enough people We could conceivably run two lobbies of 10-12 drivers

So my experiment with Load Cells ends with me removing it and picking up a second at a track I've been struggling with. Its a cool add-on, but its not for everyone. So if anyone wants a Ricmotech Load Cell for T3PA Pro let me know its $100.00
