I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

I'll team up with you chunt if you want, as of right now it only looks like I will miss 3 races this season due to work, all in December. Practice is tough for me though. Don't get a lot of time to practice that is why I am driving the same car in both leagues I am in. Makes it easier.

On another note, how is the game with more then 8 racers in a lobby. Had issue' s last week trying to get 14 people in a lobby. Half of the racers got disconnected and after about an hour in a 1/2 and 5 time getting disconnected I had had enough and gave up. They were able to get the race off with 7 racers.

Spiff, that sounds good to me man. I'm always down to team up. See my post above about liveries. I wanted to run that white, black and red livery in the 911 GT3 R. Get with me on your thoughts about livery, and we can make it happen.

Hey guys, glad I found this place!

I'm not the fastest racer, but I am a clean driver and I'm hoping you guys wouldn't mind me jumping in and joining you guys! Also, please add me on XBL as I'm more than willing to do some testing with you guys on Wednesday night if you're all doing that!

Driver Name: Christopher Darling
Gamertag: iLLmaculate 0ne
Car Manufacturer: BMW M6 GT3
Car # and Sponsor: #137 OCH Racing
Team: Team Velocity Motorsports
(Could use a team mate to help me get faster!)

Is there any possibility that this is still happening, and if so what do the driver numbers look like currently? I'm an extremely active XBL user, and I'm looking for an active racing league that operates on US EST time zone (or at least something reasonable between 5pm est and 9pm est on weekdays, anytime during weekends)

If anyone can let me know, that'd be great!

It's just a matter of numbers. So far, I've has some people on XBO mssge say they want to run, and yourself, and a few others who threaten to get the game or have it now. Right now, the issue is really the game itself. I can't find any decent proof that a lobby would be stable enough for a league. Public ones are typically below 10 drivers. Testing by other leagues doesn't work. People always get booted. Last time, they patched it, but I have no idea how this one will turn out.

Also, what is everyone's preference with cars? I thought GTO because of ovals, but the Group C1 (or GR.C group) is fantastic. Almost prefer them to the GTO. The GT1 cars are good too.

Mike, I was looking at the 911 GT3 R with the current Porsche manufacturer team's white, black and red livery. I believe Spiff said he wanted the Endurance 911, which is a different car with other liveries available. I understand not wanting duplicate numbers though. I can try to find another one that works, just wanted to run as the Porsche manufacturer team.
Is the #911 #912 Endurance Cars not Factory?

Also you don't have to run matching schemes.. Team concepts are more about working with someone in the same car that can help improve your performance on the track by sharing information and practicing together.

If there are no performance changes between the 2 cars then I can do that no problem, but I did already start driving the 24hr car in m y other league and with limited time to test and tune it would be easier for me to stay in one car. I already know the rough sweet spot for the suspension on the 24hr car. I'll give it a try and see how it is and let you know.

I think Michael is doing LMP1, LMP2, GT3, and LM GTE. So GTO and GT1 are natural extensions. But the C1 class / GT.R cars are awful tempting. Last year they just had the Sauber C9, and leagues ran whole series' with it. I was in one. Now, they have nine cars that are in the same class.

I'm in for testing this Wednesday! I think the only difference in the gt3 endurance versions is the headlights depending on the series they run in, as requested by the manufactures. Not 100% sure yet but there shouldn't be any difference at all in the driving/tuning of the 2 models.

It's factory as well, but I liked these that match the LMP1 cars:

I don't understand why they don't have a GT3 and GTE/ GTLM version of this livery in the game, as this is the one that ran in both the WEC and Weathertech series.

Spiff, in the Endurance version, I like the Falken livery in blue and green. Let me know your thoughts, as long as they aren't already taken.

Both are Open.. Just be known the only Diff with the Endurance cars is the Yellow Lights. Oh and Your setup is on the Non-Endurance car, as its actually a seperate car as far as setups are saved. But shouldn't take a but a few minutes to port over the setups. Since we can share setups now things can get a lot easier with Teammates helping Teammates.

S6 is finally here, along with a new game, what do you so far think of Project Cars 2?
Project Bugs 2. It has potential, though.
We've had almost 3 months of off season, how have you found it/spent it?
Assetto Corsa fan.
What in particular are you most looking forward to from the new game this season?
Not to be disconnected from the session.

Its a lot better than the original game, but still has a lot of issues that need fixed before its worth the money.

Getting a lot of quality time with my right hand

Not getting taken out every race and dropping the bad luck I've had since i started racing here ha.

We can go with the non endurance care. I'll take 911 if you are taking 912. Not worried about the saved setups as I am going to delete all my setups and make a base global set up and tune off of that.

I can always switch over to the non endurance 911 in the PRL league. We are still in preseason there.
