I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

I think this Wednesday at 8 would be good, if Michael agrees?
Be good to know ahead of time before we start. Does anyone know if the patch fixed anything multiplayer?
It says that the 2.0 patch made improvements to lobby and multiplayer function?

From what I saw last week which was about a week after the patch was released, it made things worse.

Sounds good. Pick the track and they will come. Need to get at least 10 hopefully to put a strain on the system. Like I said it seems to work fine with about 7 or 8 people. Anything after that gets funky.

If worse comes to worse and we do have issue's, we keep having post season until the next patch. Also remember that once the practice lobby starts, and you start racing you will not be able to invite other people to the lobby until qualifying. Seems to be another issue that SMS screwd up. So everyone has to be ready to go when practice starts.

I've noticed that too. If you leave the lobby to change any settings or liveries you can't get back in unless there is another session. We ran 10 people at DSRL for our 200km race. However, there was a room that only had two people finish the race. Not sure if they were all connection issue problems. It also seems to be be good on one night and terrible another night. No consistency to the issues.
I'll be sending out invites to the GT World Endurance Challenge Club that I created. That way we can keep up to date on Xbox as well.
Ideally I would like to get this going as we've waited all year for this to come out. But PC1 had issues too and I feel like they can correct them if addressed quickly. Yes, worst case scenario we have some Pre-Season Practice sessions and get used to racing around each other and building trust in our fellow racers.

I wouldn't mind If we delayed the start... I need more practice

A delayed start would be better for me, as well. Wife returns from ATL Nov.1.
We can do that.. We can honestly start in Daytona for all I care.. But lets test what we can and get some idea as how it will all flow.. If you want we can substitute for an Exhibition Race at Texas Road Coarse and move Bathurst and New Zealand to the Asia end of the schedule.
I do want to maintain the Holiday Breaks and would like input on that as we go. I can also adjust the Bonus Points for Attendance if needed. I just need input from the Drivers involved before the start of the season.

Questions

S6 is finally here, along with a new game, what do you so far think of Project Cars 2?

We've had almost 3 months of off season, how have you found it/spent it?

What in particular are you most looking forward to from the new game this season?

Lovely not speaking to everyone. And well I can't say what I've been doing..

Watching people crash. BOOM!

Is there any possibility that this is still happening, and if so what do the driver numbers look like currently? I'm an extremely active XBL user, and I'm looking for an active racing league that operates on US EST time zone (or at least something reasonable between 5pm est and 9pm est on weekdays, anytime during weekends)

If anyone can let me know, that'd be great!

Spiff said he was going to run a #911 Perhaps he can be your teammate. I know there is like (x5) #911's I would really only like to see (1) #911 on the track. I'm assuming you are running an Endurance 911, since they are cooler to look at.
Just to specify, I want to keep down duplicate numbers on the track. There's plenty of cars to choose from and numbers. By that same token, if your car number is duplicated on the same car (manf.) with a different livery you can run that alternate livery.

Mike, I was looking at the 911 GT3 R with the current Porsche manufacturer team's white, black and red livery. I believe Spiff said he wanted the Endurance 911, which is a different car with other liveries available. I understand not wanting duplicate numbers though. I can try to find another one that works, just wanted to run as the Porsche manufacturer team.
