so no cautions? That ought to be interesting at least... haha... I can't say for certain I will try to make this race. I have about a 50-50 shot at being here.

hahaha, that was a long time ago. I used and ran them also.
I was also surprised with how many drivers actually showed up

Good to see. I had the same feeling in the Indy 500. Lots of cars on the pacelap... yeah!

The good old days of dial-up BBS's, Galacticomm BBS software and ASCII art

It just makes you appreciate how far we've come. Back then we would have killed to have more players online, full grids just using the tech we had back then now we try to fathom out the black magic behind a new tyre model that we probably would have needed one or more of those old computers we used to dial into those BBS's just to calculate a fraction of this tyre model's maths. I'm just happy to be amongst such a great bunch of drivers to enjoy it.

Apologies fellow RD racers. I am having to withdraw from this one.

The heat in the house is unbearable at the moment and I can't see myself sitting at the wheel racing tonight. Outside with a few cans and a good book is the order of the evening.

Hope to check in for some future midweek offerings. Have fun all those who do attend.
