  • At First Time, I distilled the mash around 65 C. Then he said, "This is water."

Thats a good Mash. The mash is perfectly prepared when the closed bucket no longer bubbles.

Methanol starts boiling at 65 degrees C
Ethanol will start boiling at 78.4 degrees C

Basically, you distil and keep the still warm on the fire with 2 logs of wood.

When 65°C is reached, the methanol begins to boil. The temperature remains at 65 °C until the methanol has completely boiled away. The temperature should then rise to 78.4 °C and remain there. When the temperature rises again while two logs are on the fire, it is time to stop the distillation as all the ethanol has evaporated from the still.

Its says something about window cleaner when there is too much methanol in the bottle.
Those are the 3 messages for when there is too much methanol in the bottle:
"I can't buy this window cleaner. Make some new and we'll see again.",
"I can't buy this. This will kill me. Go make new and we'll see again.",
"I can't buy this. God damn. Go make new and we'll see again.".

Needed A Police Control And A Fine For This Mod.
Already looked into controlling the police. That's not so easy to realize, so I rejected the idea.

Sorry, But Same Probem Continues. No Alcoholmeter In Game. Maybe I'm Using Previous Version Of MSC.
And Bottle Is Getting Lost In The Boat.

Also I know about the bottle in the boat, dont know why the boat causes this. It is what it is.
 
New Liquor And Moonshine Types Like Minttu?
Its a generic moonshine mod what would it add to the game? Different flavors would require different ingrediants. You would need to buy or collect those in the gameworld to add different flavor.
This mod works just around kilju(sugarwine)thats what the my summer car creator gave us to work with.
Different types of moonshine would not add anything gameplay wise.

It would still be destill-bucket-profit.

Also, the distillation in this mod is pretty simplified. You can't normally get 90%+ alcohol in a single distillation.
Its a gameplay decision.
 
The Mod Is Very Good. But There Are Some Bugs:

  • I Went To Seppo And He Gave Me Money And Took My Moonshine. I Walked Away From Him And Approached Again. And While He Was Holding The Bottle In His Hand He Said "Did You Bring That Moonshine?" All Dialogues Should Be Stopped When He Took The Bottle. Also While I Was Inside Teimo's Shop I Smelled Him And He Said "Did You Bring That Moonshine?" To Me Again. This Is A Big Problem.

  • Also When I Went Home After Giving The Moonshine I Found The Bottle At The Entrance Of The House. Drinking The Bottle And Bringing It Back In Such A Short Time Decreases The Quality Of The Mod. He Should Appear In Front Of The House After 1-2 Days And Knock On The Door. When We Open The Door He Should Tell Us He Brought The Bottle. Then He Should Give Us The Bottle And Walk Away From The House.

This is a feature request, not a bug.

I thought it was normal for the doors to be unlocked in Finland at this time and there was no point that Seppo should be waiting if he just wanted to take the bottle home to the player's house.

I will think about adding a delay until the bottle gets returned.

If I do, I'll make it optional in the settings because I already know that people will complain about not being able to find the bottle.

  • I heated the steel with 2 firewoods to 60-65 degrees. When the temperature of the steel was 65, one firewood disappeared and the heat began to decrease. Then I added another firewood to keep the heat constant and increased the amount of wood in the fire to 2. However, instead of staying constant, the heat increased to 75-80 degrees and ethanol mixed into my methanol.

No, it only maintains the temperature as long as there is methanol in the mixture with 2 logs. Methanol begins to vaporize at lower temperatures, with the maximum flow rate being reached at 65°C. Your methanol has already vaporized, which is why the temperature has already risen.


If you start the still with 3 logs and then always stay with 2 logs, you will see that it stays at this temperature for longer.

I only gave you the 2-log method because heating and cooling are in such a balance that you can recognize the transition perfectly without wasting ethanol. And with more wood you are able to overheat your still so it doesnt stick to the boiling points.

If you see that its going above 65°C its time to place your bottle under the still to collect your valuable moonshine since all methanol is gone.

Methanol is boiling off fast.... From a technical standpoint it already starts evaporation at 55°C when the whistle sound is audible. It increases boiling speed until the boiling point is reached when it get boiled off the fastest.

I already told you when the temperature goes higher than 65°C and 2 logs are used the methanol is already gone.

After all this is a game and distillation is accelerated and simplified.
