Michael Schumacher

I think you've competely lost track with your argument.
People have tried to give you a differnt point of view and you've basically taken every point of view and took a stance of "im mr F1 you all know nothing." Hamilton was a T driver for maclaren, not that, thats what i said, i said he's been in the seat of one since 17. He knows the car, he knows the people, he knows maclaren so it's easily conceivable for him to have developed it and set the car up himself. I accept your points of view ive merely given you another angle and you've some how taken offense at this. For example, why was the 98 belgian gp such a freak race, duhhhh due to the weather. I wash my hands of you and will laugh when your fanboy attitude see's your mr Schumacher left embarrassed from the current array of talent, Alonso, Hamilton and i dare say Nico Rosberg if he can keep up with the consistency he showed last season. GOODBYE and i still say Schumi will get a 1 win.

Ah brilliant, a whole can-o-worms opened with a Hamilton debate. Fantastic :D

Erm... Not that I'm a Schumi fan but, if last season Brawn made a Champion of Button, what do yo think the chances are realistically with the Micheal?

Don't know how many races he'll win but as much as I hate to say it - there is no doubt the man, the myth, the legend that is... Michael Schumacher stands a good chance of taking the title at the end.

I'd love for it to be Hamilton or Button as they're my countrymen, but I've seen Schumacher at the ROC the past couple of years and he's the class of the field - and it's all the top drivers from around the world. Yes a show and a spectacle but they all want to win... just 9 times out of 10 it's good old reliable Schui.

I'm not a fan of this guy.

if mercedes, gives him a good car, and after some race to regain the rhythm of the hard competition, it should be present in the top rankings. I do not see this guy stayed in the middle of the pack.

I watched Rubens Barrichello in 2009, for comparison with michael. Rubens was very competitive with button. I remember micheal and Rubens at ferrari, michael had often before Rubens. So I suppose that Michael should be competitive in 2010.
i hope :)

Michael Schumacher ,Sebastian Vettel ,Lewis Hamilton ,Fernando Alonso ,Felipe Massa ....sad for kimi.

I am very excited to see the start of season

Michael Schumacher says he will drive for Mercedes again in 2011 - because he has not reached his "final target" of winning an eighth world championship.
The 41-year-old German returned to Formula 1 this season after three years in retirement but has been well off the pace in the drivers' championship.
Schumacher said: "When I came back [the target] was to win another title. That's what I'm here for, very clearly.
"I know the final target, where I want to go, I'm confident I can achieve it."

Derek Warwick has said that if there had been more laps left in the Hungarian GP, Schumacher would have been black flagged for his disgraceful driving.

"If we had enough laps [we could have disqualified him] but you have to have video evidence and make sure all four stewards are in agreement" said Warwick.

Certainly it's the latest in a long list of driving incidents that Schumacher has been involved with, and it's earned him a 10 place grid drop when F1 travels to the wonderful Belgian circuit at Spa-Francorchamps.

Schumachers woes seem complete this year, as Ross Brawn has said the unusual construction of the front tyres has been causing many of Schumi's problems.

yeah i really think this is no big news. i watched him and there was no reason for him to drive like that. he put drivers into the concrete who are trying to lap him. ridiculous i should say for a driver with all his success in the past. i think we really lost his mojo like all drivers do after a while.

I don't think he has lost his mojo, I just think he is paying for being out of the scene for 3 years. Everyone always says, you can't step out of F1 and expect to just come back: the pace of development is too extreme to think pure talent alone will help you keep pace with everyone else.

Schumacher is paying for in season testing bans and I for one have no sympathy for him: his return was hubris and he will have to live with the pain.

He will probably be much more competitive next season (if he hangs around) as he will have winter testing to get used to the car.

He is just demonstrating that he can still be a nasty piece of work when the mood takes him.

He is paying for the huge amount of luck Brawn GP had by homologating that diffusor last year before anybody else did. Schumi is now in the same position as Mercedes GP. Both saw the fast car in 2009 and bite too quickly.

Hopefully they can turn things around this winter without damaging the progress of Rosberg.

I think a hell of a lot of people want to remeber this guy has been out of F1 for quite some time and ontop of that he is not getting any younger, and if that is not enough he is with a new team that are still very much in the development stage with there cars so I really do think its too early to say weather he has lost it or not maybe next season we will see some change in the team.

Lets be honest about it, the some total of his appeal to me if I was Mercedes is merchandise and sponsorship. Rosberg is all over him, he's nothing more than a trophy to the other drivers. No-one fears his racing credentials only his poor track behaviour. If they get a competitive car together for next season I think they would be best served by putting someone in it who can do it justice and push Rosberg.
