Talk of 4 slots for cooling; AIO water cooling seems likely to be normal.500-600W

Agreed...don't like liquid
Seriously, a variation on HP's Omen 45L "Cryo" case which outboards the GPU may be wanted, perhaps with a motherboard which puts the GPU slot above the CPU...My next
I think Pimax with its announced next gen VR set is listening to you.Now bring on a VR headset that makes it worth doing.

You can even buy one of their existing products now - and then get a full refund as a rebate when the next gen arrives.

The reason Im pretty sarcastic about this company is exactly because of their history.I still have very little faith in Pimax. Maybe they will earn it someday, but they haven't yet.
LOL, I put new Pimax model on andHaha and became even more against this firm after I realised they had hired one of the most untrustwordy european "influencers" I have ever seen
Frame Chasers pessimistically expects 4080 to match 3090 (+20-30% performance at 10% higher price)4070 will outperform the 3090
China invading Taiwan and/or nuclear war could interfere, coming at all
Maybe replace the stock fans with quiet fans like Noctua etc...I just can't see myself buying a GPU with higher than 300W consumption. 250W has been the sweet spot for noise for literally years and everytime they went above that the noise and heat was a real problem. We are already at the stage where GPUs are rapidly going from 1.5-2 slot to 3 to even 3.5 and 4 slot designs just to cool them well which seriously reduces the expansion ability of an ATX motherboard but if we start pushing 600W they are going to have to get really big and probably water cooled. Not only will none of that be cheap but it wont be quiet either nor comfortable to be next to especially in the summer. It also will cost a fair bit to game on.
