Brilliant promotional offer. Thanks for the post. I think if some other companies were to partner up with iRacing like this, they might find it well worth the effort and cost....(Wow, GM, Ford, Lotus...) are they listening at all??? Hmmmm.......doubtful. Great job Radical.

As for filling out my CC info for a months free trail on the iRacing and a track....small price to pay to see if this is Really for you..and all you need do is cancel the renew at the end of the month. After all Radical IS footing the bill this is a great way to keep kids who just want to jump on, overload the servers and create havoc to a minimum...(Not that THAT would EVER happen with a free trail...)

IMO

USB Dashboard for iRacing

Hi sim-racer,
I 'm currently dev an outgauge app to display telemetry info such gear, rpm, etc. on external USB DEVICE (dashboard) that can be plugged in onto steering wheel like G25, etc. (see my blog here: ekblog.lfsbuddy.com for more details).

this soft is in freeware but I need the max rpm (redzone) for all iRacing cars to finish the app...and the current add-on interface from iRacing dev team doesn't give this information...

So if you can check that for me that would be really cool.

Videos

Hi folks, i thought id link my vimeo page of some nice iracing battles.
Nothing special, no fancy editing etc just good honest racing.
Please note in the Radical,Skip Barber video and the Mazda at Lime Rick park there was a graphical bug witheh steering wheel graphics, the wheel rotation was not like that in the races.
I think this happened because those videos were recorded before i got the G25 Leo Bodnar controller box.
Ever since then old videos have this crazy steering wheel going on- something to do with different sensitivity before and after i installed the controller box thing.
Trust me , its not like this in iracing.

Anyone else got some vids they made?

My one month trial finished a few days ago. Yes its a good sim but is it worth the investment well imo no way.

Running in small fields just doesnt interest me at all. I think they will have a problem selling this sim if they dont review their pricing structure.

The highlight of my trial came in my 1st race. In rfactor I always like to have a big crash once I cross the finish line. In iracing I crossed the line and proceeded to smash the hell out of 2 guys in front. I had totaly forgot about the safety rating lol :wilt:

Small fields?
You do realise small fields ie 12 racers is ONLY for rookie class which is what you are when you start.
When you progress up the system you race bigger fields.
Right now im racing with fields of 20-40.
Honestly i wish people would get their facts right before commenting.

You say they have a problem selling the sim? 9,000 subscribers is pretty impressive for a service thats only in its infancy.
