Hi all,

I'm Keith aka skipy (check out skipys.co.uk - a new beginning for more info on where the nickname came from)

Been gaming online since the mid 90's. Started on tfc and have kept the battle type interest going with the battlefield series. On the motor racing side really stayed clear of online racing till toca3. spent about 137 hours (thanks xfire) racing with this and about 41 hours with race 07.

Love my motor racing, big f1 fan since mid 80's and follow btcc closely here in the UK (managed to get to knockhill and brands hatch last year - making plans for this year).

Away from the virtual worlds etc I work as an IT Systems Engineer - currently sitting as an Infrastructure Team Leader, so not just responsible for my work, but also a couple of other guys! hey ho!

Personal wise, I'm married (10 years just past on the 11th April) and I have two boys. Torsten who is 5 and Hayden approaching 2. They keep me busy and both love watching the races with me. Possible that Hayden is going to be the bigger petrol head though as he's the one that like to push me out of the way when racing online to try and drive where as Torsten just likes to watch Daddy win (which is not very often).

Driving wise I'm a smooth driver. If I'm fast enough to keep pace with you I'll maybe follow you for a while to see if I can identify a weakness on your lines. Probably best to describe myself as a Jenson Button. Clean, sometimes doesn't commit enough but gets the job done.

Any more you want to chat or know about just ask other wise this introduction will end up with more words than "War and Peace"!

Catch you online!

  • Jacek Kozlowski

hi there

Hello
My name is Jacek Kozlowski im 27years old and im from Poland.I m playing simracing (mostly great RACE07)just about 5months.I become tired of public servers(i think everybody knows why) so i registered at racedepartmet and join race club.i alsow sing up for GPCOS wtcc league as a single RD driver(seat)but i think i wont be able to get to the first 100drivers that why i choose RC alsow.I still need a lot of learning-driving,setups etc..Im using g25 with no forcefeedback the same as my idol Atti.
See You on track:automobile:

Hello,
my name is Marc Good and I am 23 years old. I live in a small little village in the Swiss German speaking part of Switzerland. Currently I am studying computer science and will finally get a bachelors degree this summer (if everything works out as it should..).
Some time ago I bought the F1 game from EA because I wanted to give a formula 1 game a chance but it never really caught my full attention until I first installed the infamous GTR 2002 mod. At that time I was using my good old Momo steering wheel and instantly pre-ordered GTR as it was announced. Unfortunately after some great time with GTR the pedals started to refuse the work on a reliable basis and I only seldom drove my beloved GT cars around, GTL was a blast but without full throttle it's not the same. (yeah, I know there is a fix for this problem but after some time even that didn't help anymore)
Last year my girlfriend made me a nice little birthday present: I got a G25 and was hooked again! GTR2 and Race07 were my new toys and I took part in the BMW M3GTR and TC-65 leagues but was only able to compete in three races. I hope I can be more active in the RD WTCC and Gillet Vertigo leagues.

Best wishes,
Marc

ps: The nickname has nothing to do with Harry Potter! It stems originally from the dictionary of Burgess' A Clockwork Orange - have a look at it and you will know what I mean ;)

  • Locheil

Hi,
I'm Alan "Locheil" Cameron. To date I've spent most of my computer time on flightsims. fs2004, FSX, Lock-on etc & was looking for a new challenge, which I hope I will find in sim racing. I've been trying to get to grips with GTR2 & race07 for about 4 months now & I guess it's time to get down to the nitty gritty & get some real racing under my belt.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys & gals out there & seeing you on the tracks.

Been driving racing sims since Ferrari Formula 1 on the Amiga, started online racing with Mr Hicklings Toca 3 Series a few years ago

Moved onto NetKar Pro and still remain heavily involved in the GPC today.

well I do like race a lot. but for some reason this PC has problems with steam. - and I guess to fix it I need to reformat. and thats a whole different topic for me lol!

EDIT: Actually. strangely just tried it. and for some odd reason it now works perfectly ok!... I not touched it since. (when it came out the thing would not load at all..) now it does. so no idea what happened. but im not complaining. :)

So. where is the entry list to the WTCC race threads?
I will need to create my own livery and team though. can I do that?

Hi Andy

I think you are too late to submit a custom skin now so you will have to join the RD Single Drivers team and go for single driver glory along with me and many others,RD is supplying a very nice skin for us all anyway, get yourself signed up at GPCOS here gpcos.racedepartment.com
And more general info on the biggest WTCC online tournament on the planet can be found here World Touring Car Championship - forum.racedepartment.com

Good Luck & Have Fun :thumb:
