I hate Race cheats ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
My last 2 cents on this: I won't buy this product if it comes with a single feature I consider bare minimum, missing.
Bet you buy it whatever.

So.....Is this the beginning of the end of Raceroom?
I enjoy Raceroom, but if this new GT3 has day/night, weather, raceroom sounds, flags , good physics & FFB etc. whats the point of Raceroom?
1 Private mods don't divide the community, mods are mostly garbage anyway with no real data, it shouldn't affect you at all.Personally i hope theres no modding for many reasons.
1. It divides the online community and fills the servers with locked rooms of private mods...mismatches, tech issues, updates etc. Leave that for ams/rf2/ac
2. Sector3/simbin past titles have been filled with amazing licenses that gives me no need to use mods.
Ill pay for official licenses/content over free 3rd party mods any day.
I appreciate what the modding community has done, but honestly quantity doesnt always equal quality and from the majority of mods ive tried in the past there are very few if any that can match the track details of sector3 artists and with the level of audio no one.
(yay a free wtcc mod with ripped cars from race07/shift2 using vacuums as audio)
Asides from the quality of mods my main reason against mods other than there content getting ripped to other games is that i want an online system similar to iracing with official leaderboards so i can judge my performance fairly against other racers.
As for DLC i have no problem with it but iam tired of getting single car dlc or 10 car packs randomly selected from 10 different classes from the past 50 yrs with maybe one track.....give me a fully licensed series with its track as i have zero issue paying $30+ for an entire experience.
While agree with a lot of your points on modding, surely car skin modding should at least be implemented? it is a disappointment not to have it in Raceroom.Personally i hope theres no modding for many reasons.

Not in the slightest (imho).
Loads of awesome stuff coming up for R3E, and I don't mean just content.
Stick around for a few days and I'll have a couple of features and an interview up that gives a lot more detail about R3E's future Actually it's a brighter and better future for that sim than I imagined it would be before I went to see Chris and Allan. You won't be disappointed! R3E is only looking like it's going to get better with time.
Watch this space and all will be clear (soon)
If they don't make it always online as RR people will sooner or later find ways to mod it, and even being a modified version of isimotor physics people should be able to quick find out how it worksWhile agree with a lot of your points on modding, surely car skin modding should at least be implemented? it is a disappointment not to have it in Raceroom.
Leagues like to modify skins to suit their needs, especially here at RD

Don't read too much into the cars It's a 'proof of concept' shot using borrowed assets from R3E.
Oh dear. No Blancpain? Now I'm much less optimistic. Seems very strange to use Blancpain on the screenshots if there is no Blancpain license.
GT = Grand Touring, I hope now you understand.@David Wright
Well, a title named GTR3 without a proper GT series it's a joke
I'm ready to pay to have full series as DLCs, if necessary:
- Blancpain GT Series
- WEC
- European Le Mans Series
- WTCC
- BTCC
- DTM
- Porsche 911 GT3 Cup
- IMSA
Would have to rename it Sports Car Racing 1@David Wright

Yes i fully agree there should be a livery editor available for making skins....other than licencing agreements there should be no reason why we cant do it RRE especially for the fantasy cars, which personally the cars and livery should be freeWhile agree with a lot of your points on modding, surely car skin modding should at least be implemented? it is a disappointment not to have it in Raceroom.
