It's utterly pointless giving an opinion on something that you have not played. How can you have any valid input from that unobjective viewpoint. The game is far from boring as I can tell you from having actually 'played' it rather than simply judging it on some videos.

Wait. So just because I haven't played the game, I am not allowed to have an opinion about it? I am pretty sure you don't like certain games, even thou you haven't played them at all. Doesn't matter if you like the genre. Some games wont have the "thing" that you look for. Just because you like grapes, doesn't necessarily mean you like raisins.

Speaking as an 100% PC player (meaning, I don't play games on a console), It doesn't require that much to see that for PC, Grid Autosport is a dumbed down shitty ported console game. Graphics looks outdated. The AI behave exactly the same as they did in the first few months when they were introduced in Assetto Corsa. They crash and ram you out. To them, it's like you aren't even there. The cockpit view is big joke. The sounds are incredible bland and have no weight to them. There is a few another things that I have issues with as well, but since I haven't played the game, I wont mention them. But they sure left a "WTF" mark on me. And these is just a few things I picked up by looking at someone else playing the game.

So you are saying, that for everything you do in your life, you just blindly jump right into it, without any thoughts, opinions, feelings?

Maybe thats a question you should ask my wife

This game is very enjoyable, I don't understand why people are hating on it. With a wheel, no assist and hardest AI difficulty this game is very challenging and fun to play. Yes the AI can be too aggressive from time to time and push you off track or in the wall. But, I prefer that type AI who keeps you on your toes than the too passive AI who never take any risk to pass you. (Anyway, you just have to use flashbacks for those specific occasions.) In fact, it is the best AI I ever played against in a racing game, if you make a mistake they will find a way to pass you.

Yes, it is a little bit too sliddy/slippery which make it a little bit arcadish. So what... Accept it and embrace it, it makes braking and accelerating even more challenging and rewarding to have right.

Plus, the graphics are very solid.

The only thing missing for me is an online league. Still looking for one on PS3.

Actually, no, I don't dislike games I have not played. Certainly I have been let down by games that I thought would be great (GRID2) and blown away by games I thought would suck (Race Pro). And since I'm just a lowly console junkie, games like Forza 5 still deserve a chance (even though I hate Forza 4) before I don't "like" them.

GRID Autosport is the rare case where I thought the game would be great and it actually is. Imagine that.

Just had my first bash at the Challenges.. just two attempts at the two at Brands and then a couple at the Open wheelers at Abu Dhabi. Really enjoyed the last one in particular, was getting caught out for the braking points at the shortened circuit at several places but managed a not too bad time for Gold with just two runs at it.

Haven't managed to get a run at the other three so far and time is running out again :(. An hour on the game in two weeks just doesn't cut it i'm afraid and my money is not as high as I thought it was... just under 600k after those runs at lunchtime so a long way behind.
