Race Format
TOURING CLASS -- There will be a qualifying session to start after a minute in the menu section to get your car tuned if you own it (but it's best to pre-tune it from your garage). The qualifying session will be in the form of a race (since there is no on-line qualifying) of three laps, from a standing start. (Don't forget, if there is A.I. in the race, the qualifying session and subsequent line-up will include A.I. slotted to their respective times). Following this, there will be two races of 30 minutes each (or the equivalent number of laps it would take the best A.I. driver to reach 30 minutes). Grid order will be qualifying order for Race 1 and reverse order of the Race 1 finish for Race 2.
Grids of less than 8 drivers will be filled out with A.I. on "very hard" difficulty.

Be careful because the game does not allow pit stops, so repeated damage (indicated by icons on the right lower HUD and progressive in increments of yellow then red) due to a well developed damage model could seriously compromise your race.
Flashbacks: None
Tuning: Allowed
Upgrades: Disallowed
View: Any
Gears: Manual or Automatic
Assists: Disallowed

Agree with what Robert said above but also do you have any deadzone set in the game? If you have this too high then it will do exactly what you are describing.

Yup, that's weird cause i actually had the first time zero, then put on 5 and it was doing better, BUT, like @Robert Waddell said, this time i put the linearity in -3, just like the setting above i said. But okay, i will play with it later when i come home to see how it goes.
Thank you guys!

DIfferent wheels do tend to need slightly different settings so I am sure if you play around with them you will find something you can work with. Don't forget as well that the saturation can also come into play here. Reducing it should make the wheel more sensitive to your turning it.

Please post your settings here as it could prove useful to others

One thing I have noticed a few times since playing the game is that every now and then I can hear in the background some chatter as though from an engineer. Not sure if this is supposed to be my engineer and I just can’t hear him or whether it’s supposed to be some background chatter for effect. I have the engineer volume maxed out and hear him fine if I select one of the engineer feedback options and now and then hear his comments during a race but just wondering whether I am missing some essential info or not.
Any ideas?

Robert, your settings for the Fanatec CSR is brilliant, what a difference it makes in this game, Cars are now controllable, with good feedback, and no sense of "indifferent wandering around the track. I had been trying this game with my FM4 settings, what a disaster that was. These settings make all of the difference.

Highly recommend these settings for any Fanatec CSR user that is struggling.

But what about F1....that's 8pm your time on Sunday isn't it? I guess you are Saying only later than that any day. So maybe when F1 ends or on off F1 days, you can make it Sunday at 8pm onward?
