Oh no problem at all. We can have as many as we want. In fact, i think we have to have more than one because of the different platforms. Not sure if you can be a member of more than one, but you can always compare to the global leader-boards. Mine was created just due to the xbox league. If we race with a certain livery we can challenge other clubs on xbox to races.

Hey,

i have the wheel T500 RS too and i have a big problem with GRID Autosport.. i can use the "gas" pedal only with the "red" light on T500 RS its normal? (power off)

If i turn on my wheel to the green button (power on) i cant use the gas pedal and i need to drive with the "clutch" pedal..

Could you tell me how to fix it? Sorry for my bad english ..

the green is if you have the pedals inverted as the t500 pedals can be used in either f1 or gt style. if you have it in the inverted mode but haven't inverted your pedals then the clutch and accelerator will be the wrong way round.

SPR off
DPR off
(yours)

Also need some deadzone in Brake because my pedals are crap and are sensitive to the touch. Otherwise we are pretty close. I could run the same Sen if the other settings would cooperate.

I found that I needed thee to get the "drift" out of the car. Many drivers in F1 on xbox do this also to cure the dropoff understeer, so I guess it makes my wheel countersteer faster, sort of like reverse linearity. But I need some positive Lin to stabilize the car on the straights. I think the SPR and DPR may work in tandem on my firmware and xbox to give more grip in the corners, but I'm just guessing. Any ideas? Have not tried yours yet but will.

It's a joke that this game was released without basic controller settings like deadzone, saturation etc. Does anyone know how I can adjust them externally? I'm using a wireless xbox 360 controller for PC. The joystick is jumpy as crap, way over sensitive, and has a stupidly large deadzone. (Note that I play with all assists off). I have modified my controller with accelerometers that hack into the joystick, so I can steer my joystick by turning the controller as a wheel. This worked fantastically in F1 2013 on pc, I really want to get it working in GRID autosport. I've found several config xml files in the "input" folder, and tried adjusting the deadzone values. Nothing seems to actually change the deadzone and saturation of the xbox controller in game.

Help anyone?

I'm not talking about cockpit blur, I mean the motion blur. I've found I can turn it off by setting shader quality to "low", but then I miss out on the other cool shader effects. Seems ridiculous that low-quality shader settings produce crisper more detailed textures than the highest shader settings. Anyone know how to turn motion blur only off?

One thing has become painfully apparent.

If you buy GRID AutoSport with the intentions of playing it like the arcade racer that it is; then you'll have a good time doing so.
If you play it expecting it to be a full blown sim, then of course you'll be grossly disappointed.

I don't plan on buying it as arcade racers just don't do it for me anymore, but I'm sure this game will make many of the people who play it like its and arcade racer mostly happy.

Arcade racers usually have rockets and guns, i don't see any rockets and guns:p

Yes it simcade and its very good at what it does. and there is nothing wrong with that.
Its got allot going for it. more than som egive it credit for.;)
The FFB is way better than i thought it would be
the cars handle way better than i though they would.
Yes its forgiving in its driving style but still a challenge
This tittle is a good stepping stone, if it was your first driving game it will be perfect stepping stone to converting over to a full sim like RF2 for example.

These are the kind of games that make the sim community stronger and bigger.
We have potential RD members driving these games now and want to take the next step to a full on sim.
We have seen this on the forum through the codies F1 games.
guys upgrade from a console to pc. Or buy a pc to try out a full sim, Its about how you drive not whether its simcade or sim.
Without these games the sim community will die plain and simple.

Drive it like a sim and its very rewarding. Turn of all the driving aides and some of the cars are allot harder to drive. hit the gas at the wrong time and your spinning round.
or you can drive it and just have fun. the game covers so many disciplines its just fun
great graphics and visual, lots of little details that shine (cars get scratched when you rub them)
drive some of the tracks in reverse (Really cool feature)
like with any game or sim there a feature that are great and some that are not so great but overall it ticks all the boxes.

Did i mention The FFB is ok. not fr2 standard but its still very good in telling you what the car is doing, it just lacks in the finer detail, but you can still balance the car in a nice arc through a bend. push a bit more and the rear steps out. keep pushing and you spin.
but you feel the basics of what the car is doing.
Racing against the Ai is a absolute blast very demanding at times. you tap them they will tap you back race clean and they race clean, leave the door open the dive up the inside.

Single player is great fun after 15 laps you are waisted,
ive only just dabbled in the cars but they are great fun, a car for every occasion.

Having driven sims and driven these kind of titles all i can say is it way better than say shift 2 (even with the community tyre patch).
I still drop into Dirt 2 for a fix every now and again these kind of games are fun,
rally cross and the baja races. (easy to drive but hard to drive fast great fun with friends)

Just take the game for what it is and enjoy it for what it is.

Good fun with friends.. 9/10 on my scale
At the end of the day if your not having fun no matter how good the sim or game is you don't play it.

That's weird cause this is the first game in the grid, dirt, f1 series that got perfect 360 controller settings out of the box for me. Maybe try playing around with the input device type option in the hardware settings config file.

Dunno what is happening with this game but I'm averaging ~80 fps and it never drops below 60 and yet it feels nothing like 60 fps. It feels way slower. What am I missing, or what is wrong? It feels more like 30 tbh.
F1 2012/13 and Dirt didn't have this problem on my PC.
