Had this problem too, but it fixes somehow by itself.
Idk, maybe i save game in career mode, or set up and exit from game throu menu.
If nothing help, take a look on input folder, there are default settings for devices.

Waste of $44.

It doesn't save control settings in between each session. I was re-configuring my wheel every time I loaded up the game. It also has microstutter issues that have been prevalent since DiRT Showdown a few years ago. Figures, it's using the same engine. To nit pick, it's even got the same frontend menu as Grid 2. Not a good sign.

What matters is the AI and driving model.

The AI is downright terrible. At Hockenheim, they were all going wide in T1, all the way onto the tarmac runoff, then checking up by 50 km/h and wildly swerving back onto the racing surface in sync, like a poor rFactor mod. When the AI was being a little more competent, they were constantly trying to run me off the track. I appreciate a bit of door banging because it's one thing you don't see in a whole lot of racing sims, but the AI is literally trying to kill you at every moment in Autosport. It's to an extent where it's not even fun; the AI is specifically out to get you as if this is Burnout.

The physics are brutal. I understand it's not a sim and I never expected it to be. In fact I loved the original Grid, as well as Race Driver 3, and was pretty hyped for this. What I don't understand is the need to brake from 250 feet out in a DTM-spec car, yet every other moment the car feels like it has 300% grip and is just as ridiculous as the original Grid. I had to restart the same race 5-6 times because I flat out could not figure out how to drive the car.

Singleplayer doesn't have any of the fun RPG teambuilding elements. It's just groups of races where you choose to drive the blue car or the green car for slightly different XP gains.

I wish I could take it back to the store and get a refund. It's awful, I wish I'd never bought it, and you're still better off playing Grid 1.

Austin you know what is great about this game? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. it may be the worst racing game i have ever played. I feel like a worse driver having played it. complete waste of $50. This may be my last Codemasters purchase. Back to Assetto Corsa!

I'm using a G25.

On default settings, the wheel was too sensitive and the car was too twitchy. Very similar to F1-2012 and 2013 on default.

I then used my settings for my F1 2013, with the logitech profiler set to 330 degrees, things felt better for me.

Since steering feel is a very personal thing, I suggest just copying your logitech profiler settings from previous codie games and try it out.

hope it helps some of you.
