The problem for me is that I'm going to get squeezed on time and by pCARS, but I'm certainly not essential to anything here, so have at it. I'll try to fit in where I can. Even starting with the MINI Coopers in Race Pro is fantastic. That's such a wonderful game. And the tracks are very unique. I think we have run all the locations in Autosport.

P.S. - I have to go to the pharmacy for my wife now, so I may be a little late. You can go ahead and run or wait...up to you. Just so you know. Just got done with a Race @ Long Beach in the Indy Lights. What a banger. Little aggressive, but fun. Of course, I was cursing Forza and longing for the F1 penalty system. lol.

If I could find Race Pro really really cheap.. I might give it another try. I just wasn't impressed with when I paid full price for it the first time, so it was traded within the first two weeks. I was really hoping we could do a full endurance series, either with a car everyone has, or a No-Tuning series.
I'm sure we can find something to fit what we all want. I am happy to run anything at all. The game is too much fun to drop yet :)

I know pCars will take most of your time when it's here Robert, whenever that is of course lol. But there'll always be space on the grid so you could drop in for some fun whenever the mood took you

We've certainly run a lot of the locations but plenty of iterations within those to try out and many that I would happily run again.. can't wait to get back to something at :inlove:Istanbul for instance

What time will you be back Robert. I'm sure we can wait but be good to have an idea.

Really surprised that you didn't like it Michael, closest thing to a sim I've raced on the console and only Shift 2 comes anywhere near in my view. Hope you find it and can join anything we put together.

Really loved that tonight, great little tussle with Robert in the first race (gutted you got caught up with the AI buddy ) and was keeping Railer and Michael in view for some time but one little penalty dropped me back and they just went away from that point. Still delighted to get on the third step though and only ten seconds adrift.

Second race was so tense pretty much throughout. Firstly with Railer and then after watching his fight with Boothy for several laps I was in my own once he got past and I closed on Boothys car. I got past at the tight turn before the start finish straight after some very close side by side racing and then had around twelve to fifteen laps of very intense racing trying to keep Boothy behind me. Kept a nice tight like wherever I felt he might make a move and held on for the final podium spot. But boy it was tough... But also brilliant fun

Both races are uploading right now, can't wait to watch them myself :)

Was a great battle Peter. I thought I could keep in front of you, but I made the mistake of trying to race the A.I. instead of the track. I think we were doing similar lap times, but you, as usual were more consistent. I didn't realize in the first race that poor Boothy got slammed in the front by you, not that you could do anything about it since I think he was sideways on the track, but that explains why he never really got back up to you I guess. I hit you in the rear in turn one after you passed me, so apologies for that, but it was a good lesson in how following too close can sometimes backfire. I have learned mostly now to go into corners NOT directly in back of people, especially on Forza. But it's applicable everywhere. Still make the mistake, but am learning. You had solid races...loved the videos. I deleted my first one, so good to have yours. I'll put the second T.V. perspective up on the 2nd race so you can see just how bad Boothy was dogging you...it was very tight!

So, its worth buying then?
I would say yes, a bunch of us have been racing in a small league since release and have had some fantastic racing with it but of course pCars is just over a month away (if the release date holds :whistling:) so it depends whether you are getting that. The online aspect of the game is likely to reduce somewhat once that one hits the shelves but i'll still be having major fun with it offline until I move up to nextgen even if I can't race much online due to lack of numbers once pCars is here. Check out our league forum and you'll find plenty of videos to watch to get an idea of what it entails:-

It's a very fun racer.

EDIT: Just seen that you've been to the league area

I'm curious, why are all the helmets on Grid Autosports for the PC version have black blank helmets. You can really only notice it when you're racing the open wheel cars. I know that this is primarily a exclusive problem for the PC version, and not on the any of the console versions. I can't find any fixes over the internet outside, and inside of Race Department for this either for the PC version. Can somebody help me out with this problem? Please? I've searched high and low, and can't find anything. I've even search the files with the Ryder PSSG Editor program, and I still can't find anything. I feel like this is a screw up on Codemasters be half, but still I'm sure their is a fix somewhere out there.
