Strange things happen last season. While some of you were saving for the driver market, Tyrrell, for example, spent everything they had to get faster. Jim gained more money than every one in the 2 last season quarter and spent it all in upgrades. His Tier4 team has become a Tier1 car quicker than Surtees did 3 years before, even with the buys restrictions !
And the reshuffle would happen after the 1978 season, so not this one
