Alright, I'm in:)

EDIT: trying to get my phone to work, which I need to log onto steam, so I hope I can make it!

EDIT: phone still recovering, so I will pass this one. Looks like it will be awesome with such a grid for sure

20 minutes before the end I lost the connection.
Until then I have a good run. Sorry purgerUK for the somewhat unsafe driving back onto the track.
I gave you back the place.

Sorry again if I got in anyones way… they were some hefty shunts (I hit someone on their roof in the middle of the track!!)

I tried to give room keep clear when I was lapped…

It was a session of first experiences for me…

I learnt so much in this session… pit stops and pit strategy, fuel amounts, just how darned slow I am…

Trying to steer clear of trouble at the start doesn’t always work…

No worries mate, remind me in two weeks to take a few minutes of your time and i have some trips and tricks for you that should work. Keep at it, you are improving a lot!

I love this bedlam on a Friday night :D

Major thanks to Bram who took time out of his evening to help me set up my Porky so that it behaved itself with an absolute pleb at the wheel, it helped immensely.

Congrats to Jim on a stunning victory, clawing back the lead from P19 in an unbelievable display. It was like Senna at Donington, he just carved through the pack. The nay-sayers and conspiracy theorists will spread rumours of a huge server disconnect, but make no mistake - Jim won that race!

No disconnect here so what can I say! :D:D

"View from the back"
Another great night until you know what.
I had real good race/bad race , qualifying was a nightmare and didn;t get a time in anywhere near my practice times. Race strategy was go for Hards and try and last the race as all my practicing was on hards. What I didn't do was practice at night and the tyres temps just fell through the floor and I binned it a couple of times before I admitted defeat and pitted. Was making progress again until the crash. Another lesson learned. Roll on Donnigton even though I hate that track and it always rains at Donnington !

Shane about the server crash! Was such a fun race up to that point.
Love these cars and AMS2 atm, as someone who's not very fast its refreshing to be up to pace quickly and love how close we all are

what a fun race so far till the server crashed. I will share my onboard footage the next days. Ingame footage isn't that great but anyway :)
So i fcked up the OBS Settings for recording but anyway - here's the video of my view of the race :)

btw - first time on this track.

I won!!!! :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
Congrats man! :D

Perhaps a shot in the dark but you don’t happen to have the replay saved to share do you ?

For me it was a really great race and I was deeply disappointed that it ended the way it did for me and for the others. However it stings even more not even having any sort of record of it..
I know it’s a strong word but I do hate how the replay system works(as in it doesn’t) with AMS2. For me replays are basically essential in a racing simulator; how else are you gonna review incidents, spectate others/yourself to see where you can improve and lastly just to be able to relive the great race you just had? If only the game just at least automatically saved a temporary replay file after every session that you could retrieve it would all be fine, it’s the bare minimum. If somebody has any good connections to Reiza please forward this! (Yeah I know, it’s just my opinion but I can only try:rolleyes:)
