Sweet Scott, and I agree although a few were having a hard time we still kept the ball rolling (we are a determined lot). Regarding hosting, it is a very good idea for us to have backup hosts and of course turn that damn in game voice off it uses so much bandwidth TS prides itself on minimal bandwidth usage for all connection types and in the past I never had a problem with it in fact if a game crashed TS usually was the only app left running lol oh the days of ET come flooding back and spec ops going in the back way with my satchel charge to blow the genny lol memories, co-ordinating attacks with my friend Allan was great fun.

But alas I dont have a mic and if I did I would not be able to use it as my GF works nights and sleeps while I play, me talking and the disembodied voices of others would not go down great at all (she has a good slap).

Ok, I see there is a lot of people willing to host so we need to get this sorted asap. Especially to check for possible "connection failed" issues.
Don't know if this is a gamebug or something else, like portforwarding and such network things ?

For example: We tested after the race and vyrush can't connect to me and I can't connect to him....why ?

Yes, I can host it, (even though I hate this track )
But as I wrote in the other tread we need to check for connection issues first.

Yes it is peculiar Jan, my on-line game is getting more and more unstable, i'm putting it down to GFWL chat because when it is enabled my ping goes through the roof !

Hm, I never used that... Do you know if it's neccesary to do some portforwarding for this game ? I have not done any but for me it mostly works anyway

thanks for hosting jan you got us out of the s---t , congrats to 1 , 2 , and 3 . hope you have a good working holiday chris , as for racing in this time slot i will not be able to do it again as i could hardly keep my eyes open in the wee small hours of the morning , so i will opt for the monday race when i can

@Andrew- I also was having inicial lag but somehow my pc kep going and it stopped. My connection never did crashed. I was hopping to strogle with you. That would have been fun, cause you are always very fast. Next time will be better.

Maringa Bay is a fantastic Track.... very nice corner's i have to admit.

I'm just still irritated over the fact that I destroyed my car on entering the pit to fast, stupid misstake.... but I'm learning by racing against better drivers in our sessions

im glad you like me, i like all you folks here, you've made me very welcome Thanks.

i know how important it is to welcome people/to show it is a friendly place.... i do that alot over at the forums i admin, it's a honor being around Veterans and Active serviceman ( on the internet ofcourse ) .

man i can't wait till march for F1 to start, something tells me their is going to be a big storm coming over F1 this year.

it makes me want to watch Abu Dhabi and Singapore Races again, boy i love them.

I think in light of the game and new awareness because of it F1 will be in for a storm but a good one I think. I reckon this place may get a little busier too who know's.

The first thing that happened to me here was friendliness from the get go so I have stuck around, Bram is a real gent and been very helpful as is James. And when I have asked for help or advice I have been given it. The respectful nature of all I have encountered here is refreshing indeed and the constructiveness here is amazing in help, advice and criticism. I am happy to be a member of this group of people called Race Department !
