Really good race, well diserved win for Rodrigo
I did a lots of mistakes with the loaded car, but i enjoyed my fight with Igor, and then the chasing of Rodrigo. He was too fast for me today.
And it could be even more intersting if Andrew doesn t drop out from the lead.
Thanks for hosting Jan, you saved our race! And thanks to all for racing fair!

I had 1:21.6 on quali and 1:23.xxx on race.

If this goes well.... I can host but we have to check if everybody can join when I'm hosting.
I'm unsure if everybody got an invite, it was a bit of a mess when there was more then one starting a new session

My computer can handle it, Q6600 @ 2.4 Ghz, 4 GB Ram, ATi 4870 running Win7 32Bit.
Getting around 30 fps with everything as high as it goes on DX9 @ 1680x1050

Hmm not bad, im running a i7 @ 3.8, 2 x ati 4890, W7 64 bit, 2x corsair ssd in stripe, 2 tb back up, asus rampage extreme 11, 6 gb at 1800 and getting around 60 fps at ultra, was 3 screens now just the 1 at 1920 x 1080 @ (1080P HD on catalist ati ).

well i missed the race.. dont know what the F is wrong with mutliplayer..

looks like i will not be racing online anymore.. i can join even if jan hosts.. maybe next time i will try to enable DMZ on my router and see if that works..
but funny thing is, i tried joining an online sprint. and it wasn't a problem..

Good luck out there Chris, from experience you should be okay mate (don't ask) pretty stable place, remember eye contact even with an AK in your face (if it happens) they respect it. Do NOT smile or look at their women mate that is trouble to be had. Oh and only smile back if the man smiles at you. And keep the music down they hate western music if you have any with you that is oh and also cameras especially camcorders, keep out of view. Ah what am I saying you will have been briefed (probably crap what they told you anyway) and it has been a long while from my exp so it may have changed a lot.

Yeh ill be ok, got 2 guards with me, and the only worry atm for me is my final leg in and out is the russian chooper ride up 5500m above sea level to the site, those buggers crash all the time.

ill be ok i always am, ill try and log on and give you a update on where i am, and if my head hasnt been cut off by a idiot that has extreme ''ideas''.

still the same now, just different issues with different people, i always have a brief and sometime go through the motiona with escape and being taken hostage.
I always keep all my stuff pretty much away from view and the 2 russian Gaurds always look after me, besides im on request froma reather wealthy Russian Mining company so ill be looked after.......

I did not think much would have changed they don't seem to want to, armed guards private sector then, get a side arm pretty cheap out there the guard's may sell you one.

That's frenetic Russian spelling (how it sounds) a few phrases for you if you don't already know them !
I speak a little Russian, German, Polish, Latvian, French oh and English of course and know a few phrases of middle east.
I will be thinking of you mate, try and keep in touch if you can though it will be hard I know, just so we know you are okay. Plus if anything happens to you make sure your PC is shipped to the UK to my address please lol

Oh one last tip ALWAYS keep a folded pocket knife (lock knife more reliable) with you at all times (trust me) tuck it into your sock inside your boot.

Oh man those results just make me wanna cry now. Was keeping pace with you guys on the options early on me being me I go for the primes pretty much all the time. I reckon would have jumped Igor at my time to stop depending on when he lost another 25 secs to you guys.

@Rodas your bloody lucky I dropped when I did you were catching me by what .5 secs a lap? If I hadnt of dropped I may have lost you the race if I held you up.

@Igor Im sorry for gently nudging you off the track round turn 4 I had the opportunity to take you and I went for it, however I dont like it when you come over the mic like I did some crazy kamikaze move. It was perfectly legit It failed I let you back pass straight away, think before you speak next time please.

Hopefully the next race will be better for us all.

At least you are popular Jan lol :tongue: we need volunteers for hosting and I am going to do a fresh instal of the game because until the last 3 races my online games were stable.

The days that i can be there if there's a problem with your connection i can host. I've 20mb connection and don't usually have problems. So i volunteer any time you need and if i can be there.

@ ANDREW-On the last lap, before your computer crashed you, i won you about 2s, but i think you still had to pit, didn't you? I left pits 8s seconds behind you. So i imagine your tyres were starting to wear off !!?? If so, you would held me to much ;p

Once we sort the main hoster / back up hoster out too.

i need to find a way to mute my mic ingame if i can do that then i can use teamspeak3 while driving if i cannot sort it out i can't use any of my headsets i have.

@Rodas Yes you may well have caught me at 2's on the last lap I was making mistakes all over the place by this time, when my computer crashes in F1 its always the same signs that tell me im about to crash and thats between 1-3 minutes of everything becoming really slow like somethings chewing up my resources ie disk scan or something. So yeah I can fully believe you were starting to catch me that much more. Oh I just read your question about my tyres my front left went yellow about 30 secs before the stuttering, so to me I probably would have pitted either wait as long as possible which would of been my choice as I knew I wanted to jump Igor unless of course he was catching then lap 25 I would definately go in so I get pretty much all the laps in with no yellows.

Ok Guy's i think this one went sort of well, considering the problems we have at the start..... i think in future we should do it like this ( see below )

Disable Ingame Voice / All Participants use Teamspeak3 ( it's alot clearer & reliable. )

Set the start time of Session 30 minute's before the actual race.... example ... i do the start time for 12PM GMT .... the actual race will start at the latest of half past...... enough time for us to get sorted out.

Back up Host - Listed in the Participants list of race driver's.

we need to make it clear/detailed so everyone know's..... for this to week and for us to have fun we need to make it clear to everyone involved if we wish to have races almost every weekend.
