I don't know but I havent had much trouble in "normal" online races, some "connection failed" when trying to join but once in it normaly works well....

Well in theory I should be able to do both my computers a pretty new (6month old) Alienware connection wise ive not had any problems with ppl connecting, but since seeing the last 2 races im dumbfounded as to why my computer is crashing on me.

hey david i have an idea..

my office is PC is more than capable of running this game.. i could remotely connect to the pc.. and host a game.. and also the net connection is pretty smooth there.. so maybe we could give it a go..

If this goes well.... I can host but we have to check if everybody can join when I'm hosting.
I'm unsure if everybody got an invite, it was a bit of a mess when there was more then one starting a new session

My computer can handle it, Q6600 @ 2.4 Ghz, 4 GB Ram, ATi 4870 running Win7 32Bit.
Getting around 30 fps with everything as high as it goes on DX9 @ 1680x1050

We can check when the race is over I crashed but I will stay as host to avoid any possible problems for those who still are in.

Don't feel that you have to though Jan its just we are stuck and we are starting to get to be a good bunch of friends it would be a shame for it all to end because of un-stableness.

but like i said.. it will be done through a remote pc.. oh wait..
its not gonna work..
If i host from that, one place will be lost and there will be a stationary vehicle on track.. lolz.. so its gotta jan then..

I can't belive that i won from Tamás! In TT we have a 1,4s gap. He is one of the fastest in the world. I'm extatic!! A last minute setup, putting some more wings, let my car so smoth to drive, i never lost concentration and even could control a 11s (at 1 time) gap to Tamás to end in 3,3s. Also the "fight" that Igor and Tamás were having in the first few laps helped a lot. So very happy that i could race today.

Tamás. You are still the man. But i'm very happing today.

PS: Guys! Please don't leave the race if things aren't going so well 4 you. Consistency will come with experience. Even if you are in the back.

After the bloody nightmare of hosting i think we need to sort a host out that we all can join, we need to have a 1st and 2 other hosts as back up.

next sunday will be my last race until i return from Kyrgyzstan and Ireland on the 10th of Feb, i then have to pack my house as im moving to England as my company requires me to be based there, so i could be off line for a few months after that until i sort out my internet connection and if manage to come back from those places with my head still attached to its shoulders.

anyhoo, ill be online for the rest of the week getting my Kit sorted, and arranging my flights and transport up into the mountains........
