had a go in TT last night briefly and got in the top 30.
Yes I was going aginst your ghost at lunchtime in my 98T, couldn't match it after turn 4. Best I managed was a 1:34.277 but that car is really nice to drive once you get a setup settle it down a bit. Rckon another half second is about as much as i'll gt from it. Might try the 100T just to see how I compare with you ;).

Wired isn't really an option for me, I hate trailing wires all over the place and my Xbox is in the opposite corner of the room to the router so would require a 40ft cable going all around the room.

Can you use a wired connection for the races only? I didn't know you were on a wireless connection. That's usually the first thing you don't want to have when playing online. I used to have a 100+ foot cable running through my house and around the wall of my room, so I know it's annoying. But if it means that you can race without interruption for two hours, I think it's worth it.

I wasn't sure where to post this as there appears to be no official sign up thread, however I have taken the executive decision to apply as a reserve driver for the two races following tonight's Malaysian Grand Prix. I understand there may not be any spaces available at either China or Bahrain, however I will be online and available for both events provided the organisers grant me permission to race.

As much as I'd like to, unfortunately I cannot extend the term of 2 races as I'm pretty busy at the moment, as I have been most of the year, hence my lack of activity here. It would be good to get a feel of league racing again soon, and I'm making myself available for China and Bahrain as it's the holidays and have no constraints. I understand if you do not want me to participate in these races, however I've made myself available, hopefully there is a spare seat going at either/both race(s).

Circuit Design
In the 1990s Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia's prime minister, declared that by 2020 the country should be a fully industrialised nation. Part of this plan involved the construction of a race circuit - the result was the Sepang International Circuit.
Designed by "the architect of F1", Hermann Tilke, Sepang is considered one of the most technical circuits on the calendar and is a firm favourite with the drivers. The combination of long, high-speed, straights and tight corner complexes were designed with overtaking in mind.
Situated 60km from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur and close to the city's international airport, the circuit also hosts the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix as well as being the former home of the Malaysian A1 GP race.
But the government's early enthusiasm waned and little money was pumped into the venue. Nor has the racing ever attracted more than passing interest from the locals.
Shortly before the 2007 grand prix, Bernie Ecclestone hit out at the facility saying it had become "shabby" and describing it as "an old house that needs a bit of redecorating". Circuit bosses admitted it was in need of $60 million to bring it up to scratch.
The circuit currently has a contract to host the race until 2015 and although the organisers had expressed an interest in making the event a night race, plans have since been dropped.

Pre Race Questions

  1. Does your new car for this season feel good, ok or terrible?
  2. Was Australia what you were hoping for?
  3. What will the weather be for Malaysia?
  4. Who will be on pole, finish 1st and set the fastest lap?
  5. Will we see a Mercedes whitewash in F1 this season?
  6. Are you racing?
That is all. :p

1) Don't know. Was facing the wrong way more than the correct one
2) Not quite, no. Atleast i did have the pace which was great to see on a track i historically struggle on a lot.
3) Don't mind. It's a fun little track in wet conditions.
4) Me, Me, Me.
5) Yes. Drew, me, Nico and Lewis will dominate from now on.
6) Yes
