I wasn't sure where to post this as there appears to be no official sign up thread, however I have taken the executive decision to apply as a reserve driver for the two races following tonight's Malaysian Grand Prix. I understand there may not be any spaces available at either China or Bahrain, however I will be online and available for both events provided the organisers grant me permission to race.

As much as I'd like to, unfortunately I cannot extend the term of 2 races as I'm pretty busy at the moment, as I have been most of the year, hence my lack of activity here. It would be good to get a feel of league racing again soon, and I'm making myself available for China and Bahrain as it's the holidays and have no constraints. I understand if you do not want me to participate in these races, however I've made myself available, hopefully there is a spare seat going at either/both race(s).

The reason there's no sign up thread is because sign up was decided even before the end of last season.

BECAUSE WE ARE SO POPULAR M8

Does your new car for this season feel good, ok or terrible?

Feels quite abit different to the car I drive in the TC so an adjustment needs to be made. Its not bad though.

Was Australia what you were hoping for?

Yes, maybe slightly better.

What will the weather be for Malaysia?

I have no idea

Who will be on pole, finish 1st and set the fastest lap?

Jordie, by a second.

Will we see a Mercedes whitewash in F1 this season?

No

Are you racing?

Yes.

Malaysia is known for many things. Proton cars, spicy sauces, pairs of equally tall buildings and, of course, moisture. This last is likely to be a major factor in this weekend’s action as the Malaysian race is famous for being the dampest on the calendar. Last year, for example, the whole circuit became so humid during qualifying that seven members of the crowd drowned.

The name ‘Sepang’ literally translates as ‘Standing Water’.

This is the track at which Kimi Raikkonen was famously spotted eating an ice cream after the 2009 race was halted due to rain / monkey frenzy. This has since been considered one of the most interesting things to happen in Malaysia and, as a result, this year’s grand prix is officially known as The Wall’s Viennetta 2013 Calippo Prix of Mint Cornetto.

Aside from heat and moistness, the biggest problem at this circuit is monkey attack.
The track itself is a mixture of tight corners and long straights. It is not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy. It's normally raced in a clockwise direction, is 5.543 kilometres long, and is noted for its sweeping corners and wide straights. The layout is quite unusual, with a very long back straight separated from the pit straight by just one very tight hairpin.

SNL2 Round 15 – Circuit of Sepang (Apr 12)

Clock Tool

We moved all forward by an hour with our time zones, this means that the GMT times for the races needed to be moved backward by an hour, in order to make the race times the same as have been until last week.
The Clock Tool is not updated, so if you used it to convert at your time, remember to remove one hour.

GP1 notes:
- Remember you need to let me know if you'll make this race by Friday. I will release a mod for this week by early Saturday Morning depending on who attends the race.
- Bear in mind also that the drivers who say they will attend and race but do not do so will be penalized with a 1-race suspension.
- Since we are on Tunngle, would be nice if you could make sure that it works for you.
