Hi Jonathan, welcome!! The host will send you a friends request, as you accept it he will send you an invite. Than you can join the race. Make sure you don't have any mods installed. Firstly try to connect to a quick race. If you can play, there will be no problems to connect to the club race.
If during the load of the game someone drops, the game is setup again. If that person drops again we will continue without him/her.
