Really sorry for that, come to think of it i did see alot of ghost cars infront of me and then as i was trying to pick a line through a car about 10m in front of me was LAUNCHED away from me for no apparent reason. It was not on purpose and the culprit for the lag was found. (wife downloading on laptop, will not happen again)

anyone tried the Ferrari Thrustmaster racing Wheel? i bought it today and so am very impressed.

is that the £30 one?
isn't it really small and light and rubbish (that's what the reviews I read said), and apparently isn't supported for F1 2010.
I will probs buy it for now if it works for F1 2010, but I was told otherwise, so cheers for any info.

This is my first Racing club.. race. The track is not new to me but hell, I just put in 120 laps in Time Trial for practice and I'm 2 seconds off Andrew's lap of 1:34.1 over at the Valencia Setup forum section

After a while I just get burnt out and I'm chasing my fastest lap time by 300th of a second.
Oh well, I'll work on my consistency, which is quite important for this race.

Well, thanks for all that info, but the one thing that is interesting me is if you were going to sign up for the race or not? Could you please specify this and if you want to sign-up, and please do this according to the sign-up rules for the Racing Club Events.

Sorry Christian! When i saw you as host i just assumed assists would be as per usual...next time i will look closer...and thanks for changing it
Now to learn the rack.

No problem Bill, at least you now know for the future that nromally I never host races with any assists on, but will check with you and change accordingly until you have a new wheel and pedal module to drive with...

I use the cheap Ferrari wheel and it is supported by F1 2010. It does not recognise it as a wheel though. It recognises it as a normal PS3 controller so you may need to fiddle with some control settings.

For how much you pay for it it ain't bad and I've won two races this year using it so it ain't all bad
