This event is too hard because I can't control my lotus in a race and why so many laps.

The cars are set to equal, so your car might as well say 'Dacia Sandero', it doesn't matter.

As for the race distance; the longer the better. It takes a lot out of the 'just had a good few laps' factor, while also allowing for drivers to come back from driving errors. Racing well for 10 laps is good, but racing well for 30 laps shows consistency; and consistency is key.

So true mate, thanks for saying!

Yup, exactly what I think. Long races are sooooooo rewarding when you are consistently fast, make very few mistakes, and it translates into a good result.

Okay thanks and maybe I need more practice on the race track.

I believe that I can assure you of one thing: if, while in career mode or off-line grand prix mode, you set the race to 100%, you will finish that race with more understanding of the track than one would imagine. Having all of the assists off would be most beneficial, but most importantly taking the driving line off. Keeping the driving line on at all times is a bit like riding a bike with the training wheels still attached. You feel pretty good riding, and enjoy yourself immensely, but you'll never know if you can do it on two wheels unless you take them off.

@ Justin: oups I didn't notice that...I just fixed it !

@ Mike: yes it does take a lot of practice; an hour a day can do wonders if you have the time/motivation...

I was just being silly, I was originally going to write it in French - assuming that since you're Québécois, you undoubtedly speak French, but I may have made myself look like a bigger ar$e just trying. (deformer moi citation... or something like that.) je ne parle pas francais. lol

Of course no problem, good to have you along.

Come on people sign up ! only 9 spaces and 9 cars left, Who will have the Mclaren and what about Mercedes, where are some of the big hitter's ? No budding Schumacher's out there ? who will be the underdog ?. It's all about fun people so smile :)
