Guys how do you roll on this track? I just had a sort practice run (around 15 laps) and made around 5 major mistakes. I don't know maybe it was the setup or I just pushed to hard but sometimes I felt my car was running on ice. :\

Same here m8, tried all sorts of setup and found a good one but sometimes (in different corners) I feel sudden lack of grip and the car goes off.. Don't know what causes it but I think that maybe this track is made like this by Codemasters due to all real F1 teams huge knowledge about this track (thousands of testing miles) where a smallest mistake makes big difference (on or off the track).

I,ve just uploaded a simple table to record different set-ups on for any track. Saves printing out loads of bits o paper. You can list 5 set-ups per page & 6 lap times per set-up. Just helps to record your set-up on paper, try something new, revert back or wot-ever without forgeting. Hope its of use to someone. Click link or look under "Downloads/ F1 the Game/ set-up template. A very basic doc in PDF by a very simple irishman (arn't we all?)

Well i have no idea what happened was running awesome, started in 7th got up to 3rd ran there for awhile then tires where falling off so i backed up lap times got passed put to 5th still running great then came in for pits put tires on and was slowly making progress up to catching the field.. Then andrew disconnected and my game started acting weird like it was lagging or something then it disconnected me, was really strange, sucks cause i had one of the three best cars and once again something happens.. I think i might pull out of these leagues that are 75% or more no fault of no ones, not sure yet.. But i am going to try and start up a league that is 50% or less with some other things that will be different if any interest let me know please!!!! Some people cant do long races..

Certainly we will respect your decision if you really mean it that way, but on the other side, fun and motivation comes and goes and you are a good and clean driver which we all respect. You know that according to the rules you could just take a pause for a few races and then decide... But if you really want to retire for sure, then send me a private message stating that again ok...

Yes Peter, It does take up a bit of time in career. For a while though I was in sync with the Sat 100% league so the quali and setups were giving me a basic setup for Multiplayer as well as practice on the circuit. I would then adapt the setup in GP mode ("the simulator" ha ha). I'm doing a 7 year career and its yr 2. Expert difficulty except Auto and no fuel sim 50% race distance .The Lotus is getting quicker and I have a new contract offer £10.5M for yr 3. I won't be getting the new game till I finish my 7 yr careerand I think its only about 2 months since I first got F1 2010.
It was the chat threads about Kyles league that got me aware of multiplayer.

I buy everything from Amazon. (the UK one). They do a thing that when you pre order a game you get 10 pound off. So i think it was like £45 pound but i am getting it for £35.

had a crack at some practice laps today, Best I can muster for now is mid 1.20s in GP mode..still don't like the track

turn 1 and 10 are really the only viable overtaking spots on this track...I'd be a bit wary of making moves elsewhere unless the guy in front made an error. Making a move in other parts of that track has a very high likelihood of ending in tears so be cautious everybody
Not for nothing Catalunya is notorious for boring, processional races (tho perhaps this year it might actually be exiting with all the changes...Sadly those ain't in this years game yet lol)

So Steve, are you warming to the DRS, KERs impacts a bit more?

KERS is absolutely fine by me, I think it's a great addition BUT they should allow teams to develop it further during the season. I'm a DRS fan as well as long as they get the zones right. OZ, Malaysia, China it was well done, Turkey it was just too easy to overtake, and i'm kinda afraid it will also be in Spain...longest DRS zone of the year so yea..
Would be interesting to see a race without DRS to see if we really need it, because the tires are such huge differentiators DRS might noit even be necessary to facilitate overtaking

my chances of victory on this godforsaken track are slim to none. Doing mid 1.20s at best for my first practice sessions I had today but wildly inconsistent mixing it up with 1.22s. I should be there to suffer though this saturday...
