I am having terrible times with AI reliability. Mark has gone out in three races, Alonso in two and Hamilton in two, and I am just in Canada. Is there a way to go in a up the reliability.

Can't really tell Kartik, since I changed a lot of value at once.
Maybe hvOvMinInterestingHeat?

At the guys above, the tyre wear doesnt work properly in career mode right. But it does work for quick races?
If you guys think there are to much DNF's, in the video above there was only one due mechanical failures. There might be more DNF's because of crashes or player influence. Average DNF amount in 2012 season was 4, just a fact ;)

And of course thanks for the feedback!

As far as I can tell the tire wear works as it should in Career.

On the pitstops Luke Weston. I'm not sure if that has happened to me. My 25% races are always 1 stop, and the AI does that. My two 50% races were 2-3 stops, and from what I could tell the AI did that as well. Granted I was racing with Marussia, hence not a very competitive car, so for all I know I couldn't tell because I was so far down the order.

Which package did you install Luke?

Retirement wise, I'm wondering if the Competitive Braking, Realistic Damage Mod, and the AI changes here "stack". I figure, at least in my situation would contribute to several incidents.

It is a fine mod Demy, great work.

Sasha, you shouldnt change those values to much, since the AI will be involved by this as well. I believe this works just the other way around but im not sure ;)

Kartik Sri Harsha Now I know what lines i edited, it were the <bl> lines, sinces BL stands for blocking line?

I installed the 50% mod and ran a 50% race in Australia. Perhaps you could try running it on that track in career?

Demy van Zoggel Can you tell me what lines you edited in BL section
Also When i Enabled AvoidAlongside bool the cars over shooting at the end of straights when they are along side with another and the Practice was a mess
To answer your question: MaxBlockeeDeceleration and MinValidBlockingMovement are the values I changed.

You could open my file and hold it next to the default ai_driver_config to see what exact values I changed, for me its just a big suprise what every value means too so I hope when people find something interesting they post it somewhere ;)

Do people like to test v2.5?

Check this out guys, it was on default setup but still, never got nailed by two AI at once.

yes.please:cool:

Just to confirm I restarted my career still using the 50% mod and this time all worked well at Australia. Most 1 stopped and that was quickest though Perez, Pic and Kimi stopped twice which made Perez and Kimi epically fast in the last 10 laps on options, when the rest of the field were on primes. Excellent stuff. 1 retirement - Senna.

I finished 18th in the Caterham after qualifying 19th, 1 place ahead of my Heikki, fastest laps less than a tenth between us.

Best race I've had, brilliant!

Only change from when I had issues is I ran this race on Pro difficulty.

Would be interested in testing it out too Demy! :)

Is it possible to know which files have been changed? Is the database involved?

Reason I ask is that my version is getting heavily modded (diverse mods in the database, AI retirement integrated in ai_driver_config, you name it... :D)

Download Link of beta v2.4 (for testing)

Bryan you can do that in the database, at something like team_round_modifier

BBFred Just small adjustments in the database, not necessary for you i think ;)
