Track_difficulties decrease AI performance, but I didnt touch that so they should be as fast as normal.

What track was that Bryan?

for the flashbacks to work, you need to select expert or any pre defined difficulty. You can then adjust aids as you like, but don't touch the flashback count option, it should have greyed arrows meaning higher than 4 is already selected i.e. 50.

I have a question I had to re-install f1 2012 and do not remember all the mods, honor, and one I have uploaded the modem I have a problem. Does anybody know what to do after the incident, two cars they were teeth on the track and did not disappear?
Formerly stood on the track and the red flag was either poorly sc

So a question on this mod.

If I want to still play 25% race distance, but want the AI to act as they do here, and the dnfs to happen as they do here. Do I install the 50% option?

Essentially, I just downloaded the v2.3, installed the 50% folder (since it was closest), started a new career, but noticed that after 3 practice laps at Melbourne (career mode), my tires are already at 85%. I assume this is correct? I guess they just wear a lot faster than the original settings, so I was surprised is all.

Would it be possible to change the way AI uses the KERS? In my opinon one of the reasons they are not competitive is due to their stupid KERS strategies, all you have to do is save your KERS for the DRS zone and the AI will never overtake you. Maybe you could mod it so that they use most of their KERS on the DRS straight is or wherever the biggest overtaking spot is to make it more challenging.

When you do quick races, you can use 50% for 25% distance.
But, when you do career you can't, tyre wear doesnt work in career so you have to do 100% there.

whitewash I dont know if such thing is possible, since the KERS file isnt located yet i think.

Wow, just did some testing with new settings, cars are defending the inside like in RL if you ask me, will post a vid later.

I beg to differ. After installing you mod, I've noticed that at the end of a normal stint (on 25% race length 6-7 laps on Options and 9-10 on Primes) the tires are much more worn through. In fact, I'm getting a message about poor tire wear after every race now. It isn't really affecting the car much, but the color on the car status is a much deeper orange to brown now.

In addition, I've done two 50% career races with the 50% mod. Have had to make three pitstops in each. I don't think that's the normal settings talking. Personally it has been interesting.

In addition, in terms of dnfs I've seen. I'm getting roughly 5-7 per race. Granted, a few have retired due to a damage mod, but it is cool to see a car pull over to the side some times.

Nice work.

I tried this on career also and agree the tyre wear does work. However my findings were that the AI wouldn't pit and as you mention there were lots of retirements. In 1 race only 7 cars finished as everyone slid off the track, I too had a higher damage mod in use and this meant it didn't take much for the AI to retire due to incidents with other cars or he Armco.

Great Job Demy van Zoggel What did you changed for this??
Can't really tell Kartik, since I changed a lot of value at once.
Maybe hvOvMinInterestingHeat?

At the guys above, the tyre wear doesnt work properly in career mode right. But it does work for quick races?
If you guys think there are to much DNF's, in the video above there was only one due mechanical failures. There might be more DNF's because of crashes or player influence. Average DNF amount in 2012 season was 4, just a fact ;)

And of course thanks for the feedback!
