Download the safety car fix mod and only copy the ai folder to your f1 2012 folder

Both the safety car and realism mods have ai driver config files, are they same then?

No they're different
In the ai file from the safety car mod i've changed two lines.

Recoverytimeout:
And moderate damage threshold .

Just change those two lines from the ai file from this mod to match the safety car mod ai file

Thanks for all your help. I cant read the SC driver config xml file but I can from the realism mod, would you mind telling me the values or advising how to open the file?

Currently open xml files in Notepad or an XML reader but neither will open it

The Ai and damage are great but i'm not getting 50 flashbacks in any mode and i cant figure out why.

This is a realism mod, please tell me why anyone would want flashbacks anyway? If I had my way there would be no such thing. Only bad drivers in my opinion need flashbacks.

I dont really know why flashbacks doesnt work, in my game it suddenly appeared?
And indeed realism doesnt go paired with flashbacks, but i just implied it for people that like to some testing or so, otherwise i dont really understand why you should use flashbacks

I asked because its part of the mod, and we're not all aliens =P I see that the DB has 50 set in the field but in game it's still set to its default so I'm not sure what's wrong. I'm trying to use them to test the safety car deployment but no such luck yet.

Try creating a new profile, heard that worked out for some people!

On a side note, I'm seeing the Sauber's in the top 5 in a lot of races. Is this normal?

Yeah they've been made to good in this game if you ask me, i could look into it!

Hmm maybe that's it, I'm currently running intermediate AI with all the assists off, maybe adjusting the aids that cause your difficulty to show custom won't enable flashbacks? I edited the DB to read 50 flashbacks on 4 (custom) but it still didn't enable.

Gonna try to make a new profile tonight and test the default difficulty settings and try making a new profile, I'll report back with results. And thanks again Demy for the mod! I've seen some pretty impressive AI maneuvers and pile-ups since I installed it, can't wait to see the safety car come out.(I installed the SC fix as well)

Demy, do you know if changing track_difficulties changes the AI or your car performance on that track?

Also, I just qualified 1st in a Williams. And I'm always within the top 5 on most tracks. But race pace is for the AI is so much better. Is there anyway to fix it so the AI get better Quali with your mod?
