Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

A classic car on a classic circuit. For experienced drivers a dream, for those who are not familiar with classic cars an opportunity to start with a not too difficult icon from the racing history.

This week we’re at a superb interpretation of the 1938 Donnington Park circuit. Lovingly created from historic information it should be great fun in this car.

This event will be hosted by @JamKart22

The black one is the 1938 track!

How better to celebrate the 4ty of July than with a vintage British car and track :p Looking forward to it

Still new to set ups with these cars, any obvious tips? Will probably run my last race set up again as it felt stable.
Yes Robert, you should celebrate the fact of gaining freedom from the cruel British who only asked for financial help for sorting out your French and Indian wars for you :roflmao:
Let me see now ,Hopkins? That sounds like a name of British heritage to me, cant quite shake off those great roots over there yet :roflmao:
Just kiddin ya matey, loved living over there and i even managed to not get shot !

Try that Steve
 Nice one Allan. Your setup is more stable than anything i have tried and i thought i have tried it all. There are some elements of what i have been doing but yours is by far the better for me. Not as fast as you but into the high 00s offline straight away. I geared down a notch to help me with the engine braking. Going to try it on this weeks track when i get a chance. A huge thankyou mate :)

I'm just thinking up some possible future race combos...

Would a recreation of Ford vs Ferrari be of any interest? Assuming we get the 24 hr working I can set it on the 67 Le Mans track with a GT40 and a Ferrari 330 P4. This track looks very similar to the Steve McQueen Le Mans film.

Headlights of both cars are a bit weak but it all adds to the realism

We need a few drivers to make this worthwhile so just gauging interest. Like this post if you're up for it
