Connor,
Firstly, driving can't be old
it can be old style and that's no bad thing, given that old style is a little more respectful than 'the young bucks' often offer up
a quick thing you can do to help find the server.....go into your rfactor folder, userdata, your player folder (presumably titled Connor Caple) and open the multiplayer config file (right-click and 'open with' notepad)
look for a line called 'Concurrent server updates' which will have the default of 400 - that is the number of servers it will list in your matchmaker, change to 800 or more (i use 800) and then close the file, letting it save changes....you can also look for the following lines just below concurrent server updates and check they're all set at 0 as shown below:
Enable Voice Chat="0" // Set to 1 if you want to turn on voice chat
Buddy List Announce="0" // whether to allow other players to see what game you are in
Auto Join Chat Server="0" // Whether to auto join to lobby chat during start up
especially the chat server one - when the matchmaker gets busy it causes a lot of lag if the chat server and buddy announce are enabled so make sure they're all '0'd
For the easiest way to find the server when you're in the matchmaker server list, click on the 'racing series' header - this puts the server listing in mod name order so it's easier to find Caterham Cup (the mod name assigned to the RD cats server)
