Warren I'm keen to have a run, but I haven't been accepted yet. What day will it be run? Will we use Goodwood or Warwick Farm?

Got it (freeby because I pre-purchased EVO), and the new tracks seem really good. I thinks it's worth the $29 for the tracks but will need to drive more to confidently say I like the SCTT cars

My enthusiasm for PC racing started with GPL 10 years ago. Raced online for a couple years then PC racing took a back seat to other things in my life (even though I continued to occasionally play GPL offline). Gradually started to increase my offline racing with GPL, Richard Burns Rally, NR2003. About a year ago made the plunge back to online gaming with GTR2 @ XGN. Have really enjoyed the racing but with my ever growing obsession, looking for more racing during the week, especially with my newly acquired love of GTR Evolution. I wont trouble any of the front runners but in time might move from the rear to the mid pack.

Cya on the track soon

Our first Oceania Trial Member Race - Mondays

We had our first Event for the Oceania Trial members last monday night, and even though we didn't have a full grid, the racing was good fun. Many drivers chose cars they don't usually drive and used it to develop new skills. Michael Stead and Andrew Dawes were learning the art of drifting (or was that tyre shredding) in their BMW's, but hats off to them for getting into the real spirit of the event. I tried the Toledo and found it really good to drive. We also had two USA members join us.

Best of all, we have our first movie to honour the inaugural event, big thank you to Mtommi for that.
Check the movie here:

Lets get behind this great innovation organised by Gunthar, and turn it into a regular fun night where we can relax and just have some fun learning new cars with the Trial members, and not worry about where we finish.
Huge thanks to Gunthar for kicking this off.

Can I join in next time?

I think we should do this, I'll see what Gunthar thinks.

Recently we organised an event for Registered Members who were waiting to complete their 3 week waiting period. We sent special invitations to those we were confident would race cleanly, and provided a special password.
I would be happy to do that as part of this event.

STCC Racing??

I have been approached by the USA guys to see if we want to run a joint event with them using STCC. Most likely timing would be Friday night (USA) / Saturday morning (Oceania). We may also get some Euro guys join but the timing would not really suit them (unless they are night owls).

I'm not sure how many of you now have STCC, but it seems a good idea since we don't get much of a chance to run that game on-line.

We'll probably post an event or two initially to see the response, but I'd love some feedback on possibilities.

Let me know what you think.
