Sounds very lively and good to me, especially the down and up-shifts. Considering this is WIP and a Lotus + the sound from the replay I`d say it`s great!

Well it is a street car and to be honest the Lotus sounds kinda "mehhh" in real life so I really wouldn't make any real conclusions about the sounds... Maybe that is just me but that is what I think...

The samples sound crips and clean. Nothing like the horrid ear bleeding inducing direction pCARS have taken.

Don't we all....a little disappointing that the tp is ready, and has been for weeks it seems, and chosen people already have it yet we don't have any idea if we get it today or next week.

I am really sure, one of the reasons we get it later is, that Kunos wants to also test the "activation system" and Server infrastructure. The people who already have the TP MAY (dont know that, its pure speculation) not needed to have a NKP Code.

So, they are now setting up the site behind the scenes. And I am sure we will get to download the TP at the weekend.

And by the way: The chosen ones, as you call them, have done something without what KUNOS would have never have so great attention onto them. The "chosen ones" are the ones who spread out the news and writing reviews and reaching all the Simracing fans for KUNOS. So, I see that also as a "thank you" for these people like it is for us nkp owners for our support.

they are chosen ones for a reason, for sure.....don't blame kunos at all because the guys that have it are able to put previews on their blogs and such....it generates even more hype and the guys at Kunos are kings of hype, it probably puts a smile on their face when they get tired of our crap

AC Tech Preview might be compatible with any DirectX 9/ DirectX10 cards, but it doesn’t support this kind of hardware.

Very important for me as I have a 8500GT, which is a DX 10 card.

We have run AC with triple screens on 1080p plasmas. FPS were (was?) around 60.

When I look at some comments @virtualR then I think it's better for Kunos and AC to polish the TP more.
Some ppl are just childish. TP is probably as important as final release because most will take it as a proper demo despite the fact that it won't be a proper demo...

Most of the people that comment at virtualR are fanboys of one particular sim and must try to tear apart anything competing with their sim of choice....quite a few (including a mod or two) are investors in pcars so they absolutely want every other sim to fail that way they will make a profit on their investment.

It's pretty sad that there are so many people that will read different forums and form a conclusion about a game without even trying it for themselves.

Maybe you should throw a dictionary at these people instead, it's delaying the TP if that's the case.

Well I used to visit nogrip regulary and I was very happy when SMS one day came to nogrip forum and told that they want community to do the game with them. And they will share the profits and will give everything community wants and bla bla bla...
I was excited as all others but then I wouldn't expect how it will develop. Kunos' honesty, sympathy and very open and positive behaviour (skype support for modders-sensational!) is something completly opposite to how SMS behave.

And on nogrip and vR you can sense this pressure to speak only well about pCARS.

So I switched to RD and it's a very nice thing to see such a good staff which allows freedom of speach to everyone. Not only those how are in our camp...

Hope guys from Kunos will receive the proper payment in € for all their effort and honesty.
And for pcars I'll buy them only in big sale - just for my personal ideological reasons. I just don't want to support SMS and the way they promote their title - instead I'll buy a 2nd AC licence or maybe rF2 or other indie sim.

Woke up this morning, first thing i did was check if ac tech demo released. Ive only got today and tomorrow off work, please god release it soon. I dont want to be at work while everybody else is enjoying it, that would be agony!! I haven't looked forward to something this much since, well never. All I keep thinking is "it might be released today, it might be released today". I dont think this is healthy lol
