Thank you very much for the info Si3v. A to B races are great fun and a good mixture with regular course races. specially if all the bumps and moisture or dirt areas are present in the model.

Keep the good work! We are all very excited about AC so any little info you could tell about will be welcome.

To be honest I am beginning to getting really really mad - slowly.

We get NO information at all or at least even one new screenshot since the delayed pre-order news published September 26th. I am finally getting to a point where I really doubt that we can enjoy AC this year. I bet my ass that we have to wait longer, which is sad.

It reminds me so much about one year ago and we still wait.

AC guys if you read this - at least give us some information please.

Before you were very optimistic. Gradually we are all starting to not believe in the words of KS.

Here in Spain there is the feeling that is oriented to the arcade game, game modes, do not bring pitstop, more than two years to finish a game that was supposed quite finished in 2012, a rumor that AC will be on console ...

And especially the little information we receive.

I still believe in pure simulation of AC, I think it will be the best simulator there and I think only KS can make the best simulator. But sometimes they make me wary.

The way I see it is this, the longer the beaurocrats hold up the release of AC's pre-order, the better it will be. I cant see the Kunos crew just sitting on their bum's doing nothing and waiting, they will spend the time refining the game, or developing more for the DLC, so when they do get to releasing it, it will be better than we all expected. Patience is a virtue, and AC is like fine wine the longer it sits the better it gets. My other suggestion is, go and find something to do while you wait, like SimRacing, after all isn't that why were here??? ;)

Cheers

The way I see this, Kunos had website, trailers information and "FUK" ready for pre-order. What we're all really waiting for is proper release, not pre-order. Some of us are angry because of delays, some of us still have patience to wait for AC being released. I'm a guy that is patient in terms of waiting for this game, but I'm starting to be quite frustrated when we still get almost no information and news! I believe it's not that hard to share some details about the game, when they were ready to be published at least 2 weeks ago! All we know right now is list of cars and tracks (that is not 100% sure) and that AC TP is the best simulation available. There are rumors (not from official channels) that there is "career mode", drag racing, AI rivals etc. etc... . I think that after yet another delay we really deserve a proper gift from Kunos...

Sorry for my whining but this silence is slowly killing me.

If it really is the fault of the bureaucrats, I can't imagine how frustrated the guys @ Kunos must feel. Especially with all the next gen sims/simcades that are about to be released, or are released already (GSC2013 ...). My sympathy goes towards them, but IMO they have to make a move as soon as possible if they want to stay in the race.

If it was just a problem of bureaucracy, they could have used steam. And it does not stop them from giving the final release date of the game and its content and features. But they absolutely do not seem to want to give these informations...

"If it was just a problem of bureaucracy, they could have used steam"

Using steam probably wont alter legal aspects or complexities that might be inherent to a given nations laws.

"But they absolutely do not seem to want to give these informations"

They wont know an exact date for when everything will be ready until its ready to a level they are happy with which they wont know until it is , they probably also want to wait for it to be 100% set in stone on the steam end of things before they say anything.

I think they are being extra precautious , given how mental people seem to go over things despite not actually having paid anything to them.

The fact that people think kunos owe them something , an explanation or anything is just insane , again given that people don't have a contract with them and have not given them any money.

"coming spring 2013"... written on the tech preview screen...

what's your point if you haven't paid them money it could say , "comes with three naked Italian 20 yr old girls" , Sure you would hope it would come out when it says but its nothing to get bitter over.

In the end it doesn't matter what they say obviously they want to sell it when they can and in a why that works best for them and the game , if you haven't given them any money then they have no obligation to do anything and what-ever they write on any promotional material is up to them , until the point they actually offer a product and a contract is formed.

For example:

In one month I'm going to throw a party that you are invited to there will be gold given to you and lots of hot naked women + men if you are into that. Its going to be the best party ever held Steven Hawkins is going to be there rotating on the dance floor all night , I will give you more details about ticket prices and you can pre order a ticket next week.

People
already know about my parties and how good they are from the one I held three years ago , which was arguably one of the best parties in the world aside from a few technical issues that made allot of people leave early. Non the less people still have fond memories of it and that's why they are so excited for this new party.

Using Steam would've helped I think. The government is protecting end buyers from giving money to a company that will then proceed to run away with it. Steam is made for this stuff. The developers would probably need to upload a version of the game or show something before preorders could happen. Kunos said they didn't want to use Steam because they didn't like how fast they would have to release the game after they started a preorder.

The game simply is not ready yet. Who knows what is holding it back. Must be some bug they are trying to work out.

Kunos do not "owe" us anything, but in the modern age of communication on the internet, it's good customer relations to give some updates I think. Especially since they started already with screenshots and some news... but recently have just stopped. That's what people are confused by.
