Maybe you should look up the word rage in a dictionary. I also dont understand how you could possibly misunderstand the sign Tom gave you in his post above. The aggressive way you post on these forums, constantly looking for fights and getting personal is hilarious. You are a Joke, you sound like a 14 year old and I bet I'm not the only one that thinks this way.

edit: and just to let you know, im not going to get into any discussion with you because you once again managed to direct the topic of a thread somewhere that stands in no relation with its title. I can just hope the mods finally have enough of your BS.

I might've a short memory too...especially about what I said today at 7:50am. Let me think about it...oh right. I said that this is over.

Congratulations that you dug up a post showing something that's not even remotely "raging" but for the last time: get over it, leave @Jorge Alves alone, no matter what you deem his post to mean, and call it a day.

Tom

I'm totally gutted that AC pre order has been delayed :(

but i would rather the team are happy with it before they release.
lets face it though, if EA, Activision or Origin to name a few, were involved then this would have been released either months ago, with everyone waiting for a patch to fix all the problems, or it would have been scrapped, like so many other titles that just were not ready in time.

but i do agree with some of the comments regarding letting us fans know what's the delay for and why, a little communication goes a long long way you know.

From AC fb acc

Time to make some clarification about the rumours related to pre-orders. We confirm we worked on this matter in the last two months. When we supposed that the entire process was almost ready to be started, our lead programmer unofficially confirmed on his personal twitter account that pre-orders would start very soon. This was supposed to be true. Sadly, in our Country the laws related to e-commerce are very complicated and inadequate for the digital distribution. At the last minute, just a couple of days before to launch the pre-order, we have been informed about some additional documentation and rules that don't allow us to start the pre-order phase already set. This has nothing to do with Steam nor with the development of the game, it's just burocracy. We understand you can be disappointed about it, but well, you can figure how much we are too. Anyway, if we made any mistake or lack in communication, we apologise for it. Everyone can make mistakes, we are not better than any other.

Now we are working on a different strategy, with the aim to meet -as soon as possible - your wishes and our needs. As soon as we are able to give you more information, we'll update you with more details, through our official channels. Meanwhile, thank you for your kind patience and support.

so to reiterate what I wrote, pre order is delayed...the game not necessarily so! although if this bureaucracy cannot be sorted soon then maybe it will push the release back, let's hope not as Kunos were getting at in their press release.

Hmm, it is a bit interesting that the pre-order only may be delayed. I'm assuming the law is something so they don't take pre order money and run with it?

Thank you so much for posting that kunos. It's exactly the communication everyone has been asking for and needed. The wait is understandable now.

After Mittens escaped the Kunos factory the Italian government finally found out about Kunos using kittens as beta testers , animal rights groups are up in arms putting pressure on Enrico Letta to take action.

Don't buy into the kunos story sheeple , Its indefensible what they have done.

Hopefully it is only about the preorder, and not digital distribution as a whole, as it probably isn't as Milestone is Italian too. (MotoGP13 is on steam)

Does this mean we are getting pit stops in 1.0 with animated pit crew ?

Or is this just a guy that helps point out your pit box ?

It means that when we do get pitstops, whenever that may be, it'll be done absolutely right :D

This clip has just rescued my entire day! Superb!

May I humbly suggest that Stefano rethinks the deletion of the manual stop/start button for the cars? It's a 60 second stop and hold if you don't cut the engine during FIA sanctioned GT/Prototype series, isn't it? Would be cool to have the option to put that under our control :)

I don't think it'd take as much as people fear to really bring the game 'world' to life. The odd detail here, a little bit of trackside movement there, and Bob's your auntie you've got an extremely vivid and convincing environment. If they get it right, and there's every reason to think they will, then I'll be a very happy man :D

I would like RBR camera men and say every 1 in 10,000 races I want this to happen

In all seriousness though , the RBR camera men and the spectators in PGR are so good at making a driving game feel more organic and less ridged. Obviously its low down on the list of things that are important , but as a visual detail I think well animated but low poligon spectators do allot to add immersion. ( animation detail over anything else)

For now though I'll be perfectly happy with the already announced cars , tracks and just racing them on-line in the end it all comes down to the physics and how the cars feel to drive on the limit as that's the crux of a racing simulator for me and its what's normally lacking from most sims.

Do you prefer licensed hardware?

  • Yes for me it is vital

  • Yes, but only if it's a manufacturer I like

  • Yes, but only if the price is right

  • No, a generic wheel is fine

  • No, I would be ok with a replica
