In AC TP graphics and physics processing are run in one thread. Which means that if graphics is processed slowly (low FPS) then also physics are processed slowly (because it waits for graphics) and you can feel that in high input lag.
Now there will be two threads independent of each other, so if you have low FPS then physics is unaffected, and input lag remains low.

This is very good news.

Are you serious?
He is a Muscle Car whore, so virtually no cars currently confirmed interests him :p
Stuff like this is always good:

Though the tires are a little too low profile for my taste.

BRB, there is a Mustang vs Falcon race in GTL today I should be making sure I am ready for.
And that Pontiac Firebird race on Sunday! :inlove:
BTW, that 68 Road Runner above would be great in the 0-400 racing pictures thread. :p

The game was supposed to be out almost a year ago, and they were really pushing to make it happen. Then what, a little something something, and still no clue about the actual release date? I don´t think it´s going to be released this year.

More waiting will come to those who wait, or whatever.

It does happen though. We are all optimists in the end of the day and it's nice to think in your head project X will take X time, but it's quite common to find it taking many times longer.

I guess for a team like Polyphony who have made many versions of huge games and have huge teams who can do the leg work on projections etc, then they can do a very good job but even THEY get it really wrong sometimes!

So for a small enthusiastic team who are being optimists it's no doubt they imagined the game would be done in a small space of time.

I'm disappointed it's not out. I'm also disappointed that they can't just tell us why on a rolling basis so we can get involved in understanding and banter about it... but I'm not too concerned that I have to wait.

That's just the Hofstadter's Law: Any computing project will take twice as long as you think it will even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law. :)

This delaying thing is really getting annoying, i don't care what anyone else thinks. It also give me little hope about how much are they going to take to release patches with new but crucial features after release.

Still waiting and still going to pre-order but its disappointing that they cant keep their word.

This is the end of this discussion. Advice for the future: search before making claims, that's better for how the community is seeing you and the person you're posting about.

Short memory, eh ?

I would also prefer to give all my money to kunos ... and everyone here that reallly seems so willing to support them finantialy could do it better this way instead of paying a % to Steam (i have no idea how much that is)

People who dont like Steam are usually adult persons like me that know how to behave in forums so dont expect much flame from us

this is true ... i can see some people installing skidrow crack when its released ... just to avoid steam

Are you saying just because i dont like steam i should not buy and play AC? A product i dont support? ... the product i want to buy is AC not steam ... i support AC since day one and now you are telling i dont support AC just because i dont like steam?

You were raging because you didnt like Steam, and they just HAD to make a nonsteam version for you. Discussion closed. Personal attacks?... you're hilarious.
