P6 in Qualy, no PB but happy to get in just one solid lap at least

Race was fun! Hardly saw/raced MX5's but lots of Civic's and 500's. Hard to catch for me, Mazda was way better in the turn, but when stuck behind one of them it was hard to pass. Kimi again  . I Did only one 360 today, the only mistake that really counted so, happy with that! Saw Paul pitting and I decided to push to the max to be able to get in front of him after my pitstop, it worked! Chased some Civics again, and tried to keep Paul behind the last part of the race. Luckily found me some pace to keep it up. P10 and staying alive, happy racer here.

Nice one Han, thanks !

Congratz Podiumizers, see y'all next week.

was an hard one for me but at the same time great fun between the fights , i was having so much problem on turning probably due to a bad change i manage to fix that in race by lowering the brakebias a bit but with 3 laps to go was too late also had a very crucial problem today on last turn using H my foot was just refusing to move on throttle. Congratz to Jason for the win awesome pace and congratz to John . Congratz to the Abarth and Mazda p1 class . as always ty for hosting those nice events Han

Had good pace from the off for a change, thought about an overtake on Han, decided to take my own advice. I was just going to be stuck between Miika and Han.
Eventually it was clear I did not have the pace, so my advice was my saving.
Just let them both fight it out and all I had to do was make sure I kept a reasonable gap.
Eventually Han had an off, with a comfortable lead too, not a clue to why, especially as he was on the straight.
( you deserved the win Han )
Eventually Miika had a bad patch, now I had a comfortable lead which apart from some worrying overtaking problems; all I had to do was bring it home.
Han was really pressing me, but had some problems, so eventually it was a coast home.
We were close to the Mazdas, but still not winners that still is a Mazda victory in my book.

Thanks for organising tonight @HF2000 Han, and congrats to the respective podium guys:thumbsup:

Really enjoyed the Civic, probably 1sec slower than the Abarth though a lot more fun (imo:p), was great to be in the mix with Jason and Fulvio for a good few laps, congrats to you two for the 'class' winningness;)

Track was... one I wouldn't like to revisit (aka, utter :poop: ,), and realised late-race the track limits were totally different to the practise server, even race results show no cuts for anyone, weird:unsure:

Thanks all for racing tonight. I had great fun!
Congrats to the podium.

Next week Thomson as the first race in the championship. Don't forget to activate WeatherFX to enjoy the dawn and the sunset.

It's too early to conclude that the Civic is a good 2nd FWD car for our multiclass so it will be available in the coming single events.
In addition I found a car that could be a good 2nd RWD car. This car will also be available in the single events. https://www.****************/car/r3-suzuki-swift-sport

(Replace the ************** with assettoworld dot com, dot being the character of course)

But of course you can try it now already and post your opinion on it.

EDIT: I seems that I was misled in the documentation of the mod. Regarding Carsten it's a FWD so not comparable in that aspect with the MX5.

Good result, it was again another 1 hour qualy pace session as Robert and me had same pace and he gave me not a single lap to rest. Great pace and consistency Robert, good stuff. Could maintain concentration and made no major mistakes. Had a rocket start and had a fight with Robert and Mika in lap 1. No fights apart lap 1 but to deliver lap after lap within couple tenths is a challenge on its own.
Kinda liked the track, it's well done, especially the scenery.

Thx Han and all for racing, cu

Best race for me so far. I started with a penalty of 15 seconds from the boxes due I had to restart the game and I found myself first with all cars behind. I decided to stop and let the pros pass and start from the end. From that moment I have had the best time ever, fighting with Ricardo, all the best my friend, so good pace and very clean competition. A pleasure, yo put a smile in my face. At the middle of the race I braked to avoid hit him and got out... Later I stopped to pit and I only managed to catch him again in the last lap, but I was not able to pass him...
Congrats to all, specially Ricardo for give me so much fun and thanks Hans for organice.
See you all next week

You said it thomas, lap after lap of quali laps, trying to catch you. Couldn't get you, but luckily it was close enough I still felt I had a chance, so it made for exciting hotlaping trying to get that next .10ths on you. Great stuff

On an unrelated note, I finally tried out this app I found on youtube for replay camera. It's really cool. It works at any track regardless of whether it has replay cameras or not  Here's the first 2 laps today with my camera angle test. Highly recommend if you have some tracks that you like but never could watch yourself drive them :)

Thanks as always for hosting han and everyone else for the tight clean racing. See you next week!

Pretty good race for me, although after P1 in quali I expected even more. Right after start I lost a couple of places to Thomas and Robert, but was then able to hold on to the 3rd place until Han got past me.
After that it was almost 20 laps just trying to stay close to Han. Fortunately for me he made a mistake and I got the 3rd place back, only to lose it after a few laps later to my own mistake - did a 180 at the chicane, silly me...
That did something strange to my car, because the tyres seemed ok in every way, but I had way less grip than before. I was still able to fight with Andre, which wasn't pretty in any way but at least he didn't get away.
When the race was ending I did my final desperate try to get at least 5th place back. Unfortunately Andre probably didn't notice my overtake attempt on the first straight - right where you get a track limit violation if you use all of the track on the right. He forced me too far right there, and when I tried to stay away from the wall we touched and I did another 180.
He did a very gentlemanly thing though, and let me pass before the last corner of the race. I was sorry to see that Jason also used the opportunity to get past him there, and there was nothing I could do to help Andre there.

So, final position 5th, and 3rd among the Abarths. Usually I'd be very happy to finish 5th, but this time I expected a bit more. But it was too hard for me to stay consistent on this track.
Most importantly, I had fun!

Thanks to everyone on track, it's a real joy to race with you guys

It's documented as RWD! Are you sure it's FWD? It's doesn't have the understeer like the Abarth or the Honda.
I´m afraid you have been duped there :(

The Swift Sport is hot luke warm hatch that doesn´t understeer that much because it doesn´t have the power/torque to do so.

These things are so "friendly" to drive that Apex and Rent-for-Ring rented them out to NOS greenhorns.

Please accept that the Swift Sport has the usual transverse mounted FWD drive train common to all hatchbacks..
Apart from personally looking under the hood/bonnet here some more hints:
