Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Ok guys,

It's a multiclass again now and I've added the Honda Civic Type R in the class of the Abarth. If anyone wants to try it we can see if it's a good match for the Wednesday events.
Just tried logging on to the server but it's only giving the Abarth and Mazda for car choice (I registered with the Honda ok though).

.....but no urgency for me, wanted a couple of laps to try it but my back's playing up, hoping it'll be fit for Weds though.

Ah, I should have restarted the server after I made the changes. Will do immediately.

In your frontpage info text, it still states it’s monoclass from now on, I think you need to change it :)

Oh man, Han, this time you really, really stepped in it :poop:

To call out the "Battle of Drive Systems", stage the battle ground on a "Suspension Test Track" and then use cars that want to kill if you are so bold as to try and touch a curb.:devilish:

I´ve heard bad things about the EP3´s suspension ( reputable source, some guy on the
internet:cool: shittalked upsetting bump steer tendencies) but this outerwordly bad:

Soooo bad.PNG

( worst thing about is that there really are people who mutilate theyr suspension in such ways that the curb can topple them over. I rember at least two vids from terrorist drives on Nordschleife, one EP3 toppled over touching the inner curb at "Sabine Schmitz Corner", an old model Polo made it to "Brünnchen/ Youtube Corner" before almost commiting suicide on the inner curb.)

Enjoyed a play with the Honda earlier, not as quick as the Abarth (I guess 1sec slower, but track limits are hard to figure out:O_o:) - has less grip after the apex I think, probably suited to more conventional tracks maybe. ('cept tyres overheat massively compared to Abarth and Girly Car)

Takes kerbs just as the Abarth does, if not better, if I can make it I'll use it in the interests of science:p

So I didn´t really try to like this track and succeeded admirably.

Much more than this track being challenging ( I´m ok with that) this offtracks are punishing and cruel. Especially the field of "understeer and your ****ed to death" sausage curbs is regarded as cruel and unusual punishment and banned in most civilized countrys.
Honestly, these things have killed drivers in real live and are badly positioned here.

I´ll send in my butthurt report at once and make other plans for Wednesday.

OK, my post has been edited. There was an unachievable lap time in there. (was a wind up). So, I'll do another edit.... Wow, that Honda, I'm not looking forward to this one guys
For anyone racing the Civic tomorrow, this is as far as I've got so far setup-wise (not sure I can make it yet). Subjective as always! ...aka, you could hate it:roflmao:.
Feedback and ideas appreciated:)

Edit: Not sure why, but the first session, couldn't get within .4 of this setup, server changed and an immediate (faster) difference:unsure::unsure:

Come on Carsten, you're letting your hairdressers club down. 9 FWD's against 8 RWD.
