Looks like Max in a bit of bother, maybe engine change.
McLaren loses appeal,
People surprised Ted knows The Fibonacci Sequence.
Hands up who has not watched "The Da Vinci Code"
Sky sports are nothing but bad sports.
They spend 10 minutes of P2 talking about it instead of using their F1 show to whine, losers.
Arguing because Lando was ahead at the apex means he can gain position off track is ludicrous.
They never went close to touching and Lando immediately opened up the wheel to get the best run back on the to track showing he had no intention of obeying the letter of the rule he breached, not Max.
McLaren now saying oh the message we gave Lando was wrong.
Well whoop de doo, doesn't that just compound it ?
I wholly agree with you, the British Sky broadcasters are an embarrasment to the sport, Brundle should know better than to support his pay packet over his credability, he's knowegable, has respect in the racing fraternity and knows how to drive a car, but all too often seems to have his views tainted to nod towards the British contingent...
I say that as a Brit, and a Motor race fan, I even hail from the same neck of the woods as his Lordship (Hamilton) and worked in Rye House, but that doesn't taint my belief that British get over supported by the British 'RedTop' gutter press.
For me, Hamilton had his time in the sun, and was
and even now is rudely quick, Norris, is quick and smooth, but prone to a lack of self belief (
only he can sort that out...Red Top press can only put more weight on his shoulders), George was fantastic in the Williams, but given a car that has a chance to hit the top spot he's found to be a little less fantastic.
On the other hand, Max wasn't the apple of my eye when he entered F1, but wow, has he grown, a worthy multi world Champion, and a complete Lion, if you even think about relaxing he'll have you! and, as a Motor racing fan, yeah, he ticks the boxes.
As for the Norris-Verstappen T12? problem, it's quite clear that Verstappen ran wide after trying to defend into that corner, but Norris was so wide that he could carry way more speed than if he's stayed on the track, as we saw, he accelerated past the Red Bull like a rocket, thus he gained a significant advantage, Verstappen however did not gain an advantage by leaving the track.
So, Norris should have been
TOLD to give the place back and do the overtake later, McLaren need to take the reins and
tell the driver what to do not cosset his in case it upsets him, when Norris decides to take control he'll do it, until then McLaren should remember that they're the Boss
Added to that, it was Norris's fourth track limit excursion, Verstappen hadn't even recieved a warning for track limit offences!
