NK will not lose his superlicense no matter how bad he is... politics. indian GP, indian team, indian $$$ in F1... he's not the worst driver we have ever had on the track before.

Not the worst ever, but in this age of professionalism he is pretty bad :p

However I agree they wont revoke it. But they SHOULD lol. Plenty of better drivers who would deserve a go. But I suppose he has the money after all.....

Which would be obvious on the telemetery if the FIA suspected as much TJ, don't be so naive. "Alonso is quicker than you" That's another example for you from last year. The sport is still corrupt and very political.
That was inter team though, Checo had just got the message and it would have been running through his head which would have been enough to distract his concentration. I understand why you guys see it as a team order but i really doubt it this time. Its too soon for such measures.

Perez made a mistake and had to settle for second, end of a stunning story. But Alonso winning the race is a big surprise also especially after last week.
It's still very odd to see Red Bull struggling, thought. And Mercedes didn't deliver either (shame for Schumacher spinning, but he wasn't too fast after)

I agree with Bradley on Karthikeyan, you just cannot do that. Once, you might call it unfortunate, twice is not good enough.

P.S. Do you guys think that Massa will be replaced even before the end of a season, i'm pretty sure that someone can do better than him, even joining mid season (I heared that Massa is certain to stay with ferrari only till' mid-season)

That I agree with, still seems dodgy though. Nearly a second a lap faster than Alonso. Awful day for my beloved JB, I missed the first 20 laps.

massa is already clearing his desk, making way for a mexican to move in.

My conclusions from this race:

Alonso is god. The car is crap, his team mate has yet to score a single point and finished almost a lap down on him (he actually was lapped at some point in the race) and yet he now leads the championship five points ahead of Hamilton. If there were any doubts about him being the best driver on the grid, they should be erased now.

Perez is baby Jesus. Amazing race. Best to just ignore the conspiracy theories. Some people just can't help it. And unfortunately they'll stick to their version of reality, no matter how obvious the evidence is. He is P5 in the championship now, ahead of Vettel  He'll probably be kicking himself a tiny bit because he definitely had the chance to draw even with Monza '08.

Mercedes is sooooooooooo disappointing. Schumacher proved again that he's the better driver though, 28,6 seconds ahead of Rosberg despite the spin. Maldonado's repeated bad luck provided the well-deserved point for him. Couldn't help but cheer when I saw the oil spraying out of the Williams :p

Also, finally some karma for Vettel. And HRT really needs to leave F1. One driver doesn't even make it off the grid, the other takes out several front runners. I remember Vettel saying last year after one of his impeccable victories that the only point at which he wasn't sure he'd win was when he had to lap Karthikeyan o.O

Senna and Perez were incredible, both proving why they are good drivers.
Schumacher to get a point after Grosjean span him and to beat Rosberg by such a margain, i can be satisfied..

Dissapointed with the Red flag, they could of just put the next level of wet tires on and not had the 45 minuite red flag.

Hmm, Perez is part of Ferrari young drivers program and getting a meassage to keep his position when he was in striking distance... Smells like a team order..
Or it´s just better to not smash the car because he tries to overtake a fighter.

Taking a second place in this case is the smartest thing to do. We saw what happened when he got close, made a mistake and off he went.

Its not about the tyres. But more the aquaplaning under the car. :)
No tyre will help against that.

I think Hamilton put that car above its best place in the conditions. The McLaren didn't have a good wet setup but finished well, so good on him, hence the bigger smile today; he knew it.

As far as a drive swap with Suaber and Ferrari, it isn't unheard of. I think if Ferrari agrees to pay both driver contracts Suaber might agree.

What a load of rubbish,
if you can win a race, surely your going to try for the victory. + Perez was so much faster!
you wouldn't just settle for 2nd place.

Way to fishy
This is a load of rubbish. It´s one thing to catch someone but it´s a totally different ball game to get past a guy like Alonso.

Again, he nearly sent himself into the barriers because he was too close. Just imagine what would happen if they had been side by side.

Take the points, put them in the bank and smile. They are not competing with Ferrari, this was a one off due to the excellent tire management of the Sauber and Perez in these special conditions in this kind of scenario.

Monsoon tires would. Proper ones. Inters are 5mm of extra rubber. Full wets is 10mm of extra rubber, Monsoon tire if they design a new one should be 20mm of extra rubber. That alone will make a huge difference and would allow races to continue longer, and start earlier.

They can make a pit stop and increase the ride height of the car. And if you have aquaplanning you are driving too fast. Imo races should never get a red flag unless there has been a massive accident where people's lives are at stake.

Racing under such severe conditions brings the best drivers to the top of the field.

Nice drive by Kimi, got a lot out of the car, despite starting in P13 after the restart. Alonso was great, I never liked him but I admit his talent there. He should have finished in 2nd, though. Vettel drove very well, and made a super-human pass imo on the Mercedes, which was so much faster in the straits. Too bad Narain is a complete idiot.

Paul Hemberry said in the break that the tires are actually not the limiting factor and the cars would have driven just fine under those conditions. It was the limited visibility that prompted the SC and the red flag. Admittedly, Pirelli has PR reasons to say that, but it sounds pretty reasonable.
